“Ordered 24 Dec, cash taken from credit card 29 Dec, informed out of stock 4 Jan, arrived 14 Jan I don't mind item was out of stock, it happens - but I would expect a company with an internet sales offer to be able to tell me it would be out of stock before I order. I can then choose to wait or try somewhere else. I also don't expect to be billed during the period when the product is out of stock. Bill before dispatch is OK, but not while out of stock. When it arrived, no complaints on price or quality - but could do better on order handling, even allowing for the public holidays.”

“Online purchase was simple and straightforward. Products arrived well-packed and exactly as described on the website. Paid a very competitive price as well including the postage and packaging element. Testing this 12v (2VA - 60VA) dimmable Halogen transformer to drive a GU5.3 LED 7.8W lamp because the existing fitted transformers make the LED Lamp flash. So far so good so probably will buy more.”

“I was looking for a bulb that I couldn't source in Cornwall. National Lamps had them in stock and, despite being ordered late in the working day, they were delivered within 48 hours despite not being sent by priority carriage . Excellent service, thank you.”

“took the money for the goods then wrote to me saying you had no stock, with no commitment date to supply,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, why not tell me the stock situation before I commit to buy?”

“I can't comment on the quality of the lamps I purchased, as this can only be assessed after seeing how long they last. But the delivery service was excellent and must have been significantly subsidised by National Lamps as it was a next day courier service for the low P&P charge raised. . The lamps themselves were extremely well packaged with plenty of protection against transit breakages and the price paid for them significantly undercut the competition, hence the comment about quality being subject to usage. The lamps these ones will replace were equally cheap but had very poor longevity, so it will be interesting to see how this different manufacturer brand perform.”
