“The service you provided was excellence, however I do have a piece of feedback that I hope you will consider. My bottle arrived in a box with a lot of styrofoam packaging that I feel in this day and age is inappropriate. There must be some alternative packaging materials that would be less environmentally harmful. Even scrunched up newspaper would be preferable. I will really think twice about having items delivered knowing that I will be unnecessarily contributing to our waste crisis.”

Hi Danielle, Thanks very much for your feedback and we share your concerns about the environmental impact of packaging. The peanuts we use are actually not styrofoam, they are biodegradable starch. You can put them in the compost or dissolve them in water! As for other materials, we do sometimes re-use plastic bubble wrap that has been sent to us. We get a lot of plastic in the deliveries from our suppliers and so we figure it's better to reuse it than to throw it out. We did trial buying paper to scrunch up and use but whilst it kept our customers happy the net environmental impact was negative (because that meant we had to buy paper and throw away the plastic and starch peanuts our suppliers used). I hope that makes sense, and thanks again for your feedback.
