“Unfortunately, let down again by a poor and unreliable delivery service. Unable to get hold of the courier by phone and the website information continues to show the food is out for delivery that day, but it still doesn't arrive. The packaging clearly states 'frozen food must be delivered today', but sadly ignored”

“Our dogs used to love Naturaw & we love your ethics. However one by one they have all stopped eating it. The paper sheet now including in the packaging is also really annoying. I don't know what you've changed, but for 4 dogs to go off the same food something has definitely changed. The service is excellent, the ethics are excellent, the courier (DPD) is also excellent. But as they won't eat it we won't be buying any more.”

Hi Brett, Sorry to hear this but we haven't changed anything at all. Same British suppliers, same high welfare ingredients, same recipes, same production process, same factory (our own), same quality control etc etc. I can't really offer any suggestions as to what has gone on with your dogs and that does sound strange but whatever has caused we can hand on heart tell you it's not a change in the content of the food. We get that it can seem unnecessary but the paper sheet is, unfortunately, an important part of the manufacturing process and maintains the quality and accuracy of the product/portion. All the best

“Loathe the new packaging. Why on earth did you change what was a brilliant system?. Now I have no lid to keep the product fresh, a messy inner that gets caught up when I am spooning the food out, a plastic top that keeps flicking back and forth. The previous box, I just tore in half and added it to my compost/worm bin.”

hi Sarah, there is NO plastic. The tray, the film, the paper, the sleeve - All our packaging is 100% certified home compostable as per the information printed on it and on our website. We are however working on a reusable lid which should be available soon xx

“If this had been our last order my review would have been glowing. Sadly, our latest order has been very disappointing. We switched from a different raw food provider to Naturaw because it marked itself as having 2 selling points that distinguished itself from the rest: real, chunky raw meat and no plastic of any kind. We loved that our dog had meat that didn't look like paté and that the containers were made from paper. Latest order: meat looks like our cat's tinned food and there is a plastic heat sealed sheet on all of the containers that once cut open do not reseal or even rip off conveniently for us to reseal it with our own cling film WE ARE TRYING TO NOT USE! Not sure what happened to the old methods, but they were fine and we will now likely have to move on to another raw food provider that lives up to its claim of selling dog food that is in solid chunks, not paté, and environmentally conscious packaging. Maybe it's supply issues from Brexit/pandemic but the order was not what we paid for and loved enough the past to switch to you.”

Please look at the packaging before leaving a review of this nature. it is NOT plastic, the packaging is 100% PLASTIC FREE and explained in detail on the messaging throughout every single pack (on the front, on the back and even on the film itself) and on our website. The film is made from plants. Granted, the lack of a lid may be a genuine inconvenience to some, which we are well aware of and are already working on a reusable lid. As for the product themselves, same ingredients, same suppliers, same processes as before. Some products may look a little more condensed as before due to the way they are packed but they are the same consistency as before if you run a fork through them. All the best
