“On the plus side, excellent quality, our dog loves the Forage range. I did a lot of research and do believe this is the best available. Deliveries are also prompt and efficient. On the downside, there seems to be quite frequent ‘not in stock’ issues when we want to order. Also the packaging returns scheme, promoted as super-easy, isn’t especially so. It really shouldn’t take a month to process and issue a credit. Great idea, happy to participate, but make it more efficient please.”

“Dog loves food Website not ever so clear about buying veggie tub to go with meat so we didn't buy it then we realised and now have to order loads to be able to get it delivered but we don't need loads So problem”

“Love the food and the company but the packaging drives me nuts! The 'film' lid never ever peals off, I always have to use a knife. I much preferred the old packaging that had a lid.”

“Fantastic to find a company that is focused on animal welfare and sustainability. I've fed pur dog raw food for a while now and it really suits her but unfortunately she just won't eat this food. I think it may be the texture (it's alot sloppier than other foods we've used ... she's really interested but spits it out which is such a shame. We have a large box so are having to cook it for her as it becomes a bit coarser (then she really likes it!) Really disappointing but the service and delivery were great.”

“I love the environmentally friendly packaging and quick delivery, however my dog didn’t like the food and only ate it after I cracked an egg on it, or mixed it with something else. She then had a very upset tummy for a few days and I had give the rest away, which was disappointing.”

“difficult to rate the food as my dog has developed severe gastro problems after eating 1 pack no idea if its related to this food or not but she cant eat chicken at all or any raw food at the moment. Packaging and delivery where great though”

“This is the first time I have used naturaw and the Packaging and food all seem to be great quality but my dog doesn’t seem to like it any of the meal whether it been the beef, chicken etc, so I’ve now had to reorder the previous brand I used.”

“Ordering form is still illegible and difficult to complete. You have gone all stylish but forgotten the basics... It's a form for information. Your product is great but the paper under the meat is a constant source of frustration. It sticks to the food, is hard to seperate and makes it very messy.”

worth deducting us 40% of your score Debra? 😢 We know that the paper isn't ideal but it's an essential part of the manufacturing process. It's quite complicated but basically it ensures accurate portions, without which we couldn't use our compostable packaging properly xx

“The delivery was very quick. The packaging is great. But, my dogs don’t like the quishy consistency of the food. There does not appear to be any vegetable content to the raw food which my two dogs enjoy- not sure if I will order again”

“Love the product or at least my dog does! Have a few issues with the packaging, some proteins have a small rectangle of paper in the bottom of the tray which is unnecessary and can't be recycled as all the meat sticks to it. Secondly when we return the wool liners the credit can't be used easily against a subscription which just causes unnecessary hassle.”

“The dog loves your food and she looks extremely healthy. Our biggest gripe is that you do not sell or supply a plastic container for your dog food. She eats a third of a portion as one meal which means we have an open container wrapped in plastic in the fridge for 2 days (she is fed twice a day). We worry about cross-contamination from the raw meat. We have looked for a plastic container but they are all too large due to the unusual shape. Could you just not sell one to your design.”

Hi Steven, thanks for the feedback. We have done work on developing one but the cost of having a plastic mould made to our tub size is 5 figures, so it is something that has had to go on the back burner in the short term. Whilst it's not the ultimate solution, we have a lot of customers who just decant into a plastic Tupperware container. On balance we believe this small compromise for being able to use fully compostable, airtight packaging is worth it.

“Dog still loves the food but the taster box frequently has too much chicken and if I order same amount of food but pick the flavours myself you charge extra for delivery so consequently we have reduced how often we purchase from you. I can't understand why the taster box delivery is free but if we need to accommodate for an allergy you charge extra for same size box”

“The food is probably the best I have used but only 3 stars because I don't like the fact that the new packaging doesn't have a resealable lid and also most times there seems to be slightly less than 500G in the packs.”

“Absolutley loved getting these delivered due to ease; however it doesn't work for us as you cannot request to have a meat taken out due to allergies so we have had to cancel the subscription. If your dog has no allergies then i'd definitely recommend.”
