“Dogs like the food”

“My dog loves the food. However, we won't be sticking with it because the packaging takes up too much space in our freezer, and don't want to keep on making frequent small orders.”

“Food choices are good, but I find it difficult to change a variety. I do like the sustainability of the packages, especially the fact that copious plastic freezer bags aren't used.”

“Our dog likes the food. Great that the packaging is recyclable. The website could do with improving. We always find the delivery slot is too late in the day and the frozen food is starting to defrost.”

“I love the packaging. Ingredients sound amazing but our dog will only eat it if he’s really hungry which is getting stressful if we are on a schedule and have to be out for the day and need him to eat his breakfast. It also gets very expensive for a 17kg growing dog! We are going to try a fresh cooked alternative instead. His coat is definitely shiny though.”

“I have been feeding my dogs Naturaw for a few years now and they love it. My only negative comment is, I don't actually like the new packaging, I like the fact that it is all compostable, but the food all sticks to the silly bit of paper in the bottom and the actual plastic lining never comes apart by hand. My other negative is there are no local suppliers here and the delivery cost is ridiculous. Apart from that, my dogs are thriving on the meat itself so the negatives are not that important”

“Great food, our dogs love it. The only issue I have is being able to order more in the quantities I require each month as low stock levels are preventing orders. I don’t want to swap dog foods, so this may become an issue.”

“Food seems very good quality and all dogs eating it, even the very fussy one! Packaging doesn’t work well for me - the pack is compostable but I don’t have facilities to compost and it’s not recyclable in our area. The film is annoying as the food can’t be re sealed and the paper isn’t really necessary and gets stuck to the meat. However overall very good and I will use again.”

“This is a great product. Quality food, made from British ingredients and packaged sustainably. The dogs loved it. I wish it came in larger 1kg or 1.5kg packs, though. It would hopefully be more economical when feeding three Labradors.”

“The quality of the raw meat that Naturaw makes available to its customers and their pets is exceptional. However, the same cannot be said for the packaging. This is difficult to open and is not resealable meaning that the potential for contamination of human food which is also in the fridge is increased. My dog also likes the treats that Naturaw have available. The packaging for these products is much better although the font used is very difficult to read. I especially like that by sending back the wool. Liners which the raw meat comes packaged in gives me vouchers towards future purchases. As I have a subscription for the meat I use the vouchers to purchase the treats. To reduce my carbon footprint even further I’d like to be able to combine my subscription order and my treat order into one delivery at the appropriate times but that’s not currently available. I don’t want to permanently add treats to my subscription as I don’t give them to my dog that frequently.”

“The dogs enjoyed the food especially the venison and the duck with beef. It was well packaged and presented. The first order was a little confusing as I hadn't understood collection was not local. It therefore took a while to sort the misunderstanding out and arrange delivery. There is no telephone support for queries which can be frustrating although emails were replied to reasonably quickly. I will order again.”

“I have recently weaned my litter of puppies on the weaning mince and they loved it. I have now started on the adult range as they are 6 weeks old. They have tried beef & chicken and Turkey & beef, and both have been well received. The only thing is I wish there was a way to change your order before it is processed in case you made a mistake.”

“It would be good to know if any of the naturaw food supports bladder health Otherwise ok although I am concerned about defrosting and re freezing as this is well known to be dangerous to dogs and humans!”

“My dog loves your food and we can't fault it apart from the packaging, that really lets it down. It didn't used to be like this,hope you can fix it.... very frustrating as it never opens properly, you always have to tear the inner bit which is annoying”

“I love your products and customer service. My only feedback would be regarding the lids of the food. They are not easy to remove and you end up ripping all the lid apart. This didn’t use to be the case a few months back.”

“The product itself is great but the change in seal of packaging is horrendous! You can open the seal without using a knife. It used to peel away but now doesn’t no matter which way you do it so I have to use a knife and then clean it”

“Food is fantastic and selection is great. In comparison to other manufacturers mince, naturaw is pretty expensive. Local butcher has started doing very high quality mince at £4.40 per/kg. I’ll likely be switching over soon.”
