“My dog loves the food snd I love the company .. we love the subscription box and can just about manage it on my budget but I’m afraid my dog doesn’t like the fish and we were wasting it .. I’d love it if you could opt out of a flavour thank you”

“Loved the new packaging. Though we had hoped that this packaging would keep the food moister, sadly, as has happened frequently in the past, the All Lamb from this batch was as dry as a bone.We wish there could be some consistency with batches”

Hi Edward - Thanks for the feedback. The new packaging does indeed lock in the moisture much more so than the previous iteration. All products are different due to the natural differences in moisture content of different cuts of meat - All lamb is consistently the dryest product we do due to the combination of those specific 3 lamb ingredients. Something like Beef & chicken, surf & turf or a chicken based product is always much moister. xx

“The food and quality have been great up to recently when it appears the raw meat process has changed in some way, is this true? The new packaging is lovely and adheres to our values but the product looks different from what it did before. Thank you”

Hi Michael, the ingredients haven't changed, same suppliers, same processes and the product is the same consistency as before (bar one slight teething issue we had with a batch of Lamb & Duck) - it's just formed into blocks for packaging so can appear more solid until you break it up with a fork x

“The food came in great time and Was beautifully packaged. Unfortunately after trying for a while our dog just wouldn’t take to raw food. So it’s a great service but may not be the right one for some fussy eaters.”

“I have been using naturaw for quite a few year. Find the product very good. Just had our first delivery of the new style packaging. Find the base of new packaging washes well, but disappointed in the fact that they are quite a bit bigger . Which means they take more space up in the freezer. So you get less in the same space. Will be nice when you have a lid that can be replaced.”

“I’ve been using your products for a couple of years and my dog is really happy on them and he was very fussy ! However, The new packaging is annoying ! I highly commend you on the use of no plastic and wish you could get this rolled out in all supermarkets, however it’s very frustrating there is now no lid, the paper on the bottom is annoying as it gets caught up in the food and it’s now harder to get a portion of food out the tub. Sorry I’m just being honest, but we do love the products :-)”

“Hi, appreciate very much the effort in the new packaging, but I think the original was easier. you can't reseal it, the tubs somehow don't fit more easily into the freezer and I usually have to use my hands to get the bottom piece of paper off.”

“Jensen is a huge fan of the food. The mix is just right. The only suggestion would maybe do some mixed with a little veg as an option. We’re also loving the new packaging, they’re slimmer so I can fit more in the freezer at once and no more stickiness! The fact that it’s all recyclable is massively important to us.”

“The raw food is great, my boys love the chicken varieties. Personally I preferred the original packaging, simply because it didn’t have a plastic cover and stacked better in my fridge freezer.”

“I’ll be honest, I’m not sure about the new packaging. The slightly larger boxes no longer stack nicely into my freezer drawers, so will probably have to order fewer boxes. No longer having a lid means that the meat doesn’t stay quite so fresh when it’s in the fridge. I was also able to put the decompositable boxes into my food waste recycling bin, which I can no long do. I preferred the old packaging. Cheers Sam Bussey”

“Great idea and well done for doing this. the footprint of the box is wider than previous so it does not easily fit in to the freezer. The extra layer of paper gets stuck to the food and goes straight in the bin rather than being washed and put in the recycling (is it really needed?).”

“This is our first order, but so far, my two dogs love Naturaw and so do I. It’s finely minced and looks much nicer than other ready mades, where you can see all the gross bits. Unlike with other ready mades we’ve tried, the dogs haven’t had any runny poos. Not great with long fur. Only slight problem we’ve had, is that their poos are very hard, crumbly and often pale, so I think the bone content is probably higher than 10%. If it wasn’t for this, I’d give 5*. Fast next day delivery. Although there doesn’t seem to be any free delivery option, as with other brands, when you spend over x amount.”

Hi Sarah, thanks for the review We are passionate about clear labelling, so the bone content is never more than advised - 80-10-10 products do not contain more than 10% bone. Are you definitely feeding these and not our other 'simply' products? All dogs are individuals, some dogs are more sensitive than others to bone content so you may find you need to add a little more boneless meat to bring the ratio down. All the best x

“My dog really likes most of the flavours I ordered & I love that veggies are not included (I have a yeasty dog) but can choose to buy them separately. The service & help I recd was excellent the only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is the packaging I like it’s not plastic but I can’t recycle it as I can’t clean it, whereas other raw manufacturers still use plastic but I can reuse after washing or recycle, I really don’t know what to do with yours the meat is stuck on the packaging regardless of frozen or defrosted it’s quite annoying 🤷‍♀️”

“Nice complete mixes, seem to be enjoyed by dog and cat alike. Great delivery and the sustainable packaging gets a big thumbs up from me. Would prefer the option to buy 1kg boxes instead of the 500g as between defrosting and using sometimes I have three boxes on the go at once which takes up a lot of fridge space. Other than that I’m really happy with the product and service.”

“Tried Naturaw because wanted to avoid plastic packaging. Already predominantly raw feeding my dog. Meat looks to be of good quality and dog ate it! Downside is that meat gets stuck to sides of paper container and has to be soaked to get it off otherwise there’s significant wastage. Would also like a variety that contains tripe/liver/heart which my dog enjoys and I believe is good for them.”

Hi Celia, thanks for the review. You'll be pleased to hear we are changing our packaging in the coming months in part to improve the sticking to the tubs issue. Out 'Tripe & Heart' product contains all of the ingredients you list there. Take care xx
