“Ordered the Schwegler hedgehog dome on 16 Sep for £86.95 with free shipping - the best deal I could find on the internet at that time. Within minutes, I was kindly phoned by Dominic (the director) to inform me that the item was presently out of stock but was due in on 23 Sep, and to ask whether I wished to proceed with the order. Such straightforward honesty and prompt customer service deserves to be rewarded and I was glad to confirm the order and pay by bank transfer. Actually, the item was delivered a day or two early - a quality product, well packaged and in good order.
Within days, it was placed beneath a hedge in the garden, against an old dry-stone wall, and furnished with the hay (provided) and some additional fresh straw. Several weeks later I'm still waiting for one of the garden's hedgehogs to take up residence. But as the garden is quite large and planted for wildlife with good thick hedge bottoms and a log pile or two, the hedgehogs are perhaps spoiled for choice. Time will tell.
And regardless, I definitely intend to buy from Nature Counters again.”
