“Had to buy the cover to protect the case! Didn't want the airlines to ruin it!”

“Fits two guns well, O/Us and/or autos. Lighter and much more compact to handle than the full length case I was used to lugging through airports. Two very small niggles. 1 - The accessory cases need more foam so chokes etc. don't rattle around inside, but that is easily added. 2 - There is nowhere to attach an airline luggage tag except around the handles. The handles open in clamshell fashion so you have to take off the tag each time before opening. I posted a question to Negrini on their website, but they never answered.”

“As the owner of a now-discontinued 1608LR (an excellent case), I immediately thought of Negrini when I was in the market for another over-and-under hard case. The 1608 had fallen out of the back of an SUV and onto the street with zero damage to either the case or its contents, so I expected similar quality (if a little more basic furnishings) when I purchased the 1605iS. Despite its lower price point and different design, I found it to be sturdy and far better than the OEM ABS cases that come with contemporary Brownings and Winchesters. Instead of a generic waffle-foam lining, the 1605is is compartmentalized and lined with a high-quality velour fabric. The latches (only 2 on the 1605 vs. 3 on the 1608) are high quality, although their gold-look finish isn’t as cool as the black finish on the 1608, imo. All in all, the 1605iS is a very good case at an affordable price and a big improvement over the flimsy factory cases that come with many new O/Us.”

“I bought this case for my 26" Citori and it works just fine for that gun and a (6)choke tube case, but not much room for anything else. Recently I used it to travel by air carrying my 28" XT . I had a little trouble closing the case and lining up the locks with that gun in it and the individual choke tube cases rattled around during travel since there is no way to secure them in the case. All in all it is a light weight, compact and clean profile case- Though next time, I would spend the money on a deluxe case.”

“I contacted Negrini to advise me on a case for One Shotgun with 2 Barrels (a 30" over/under and a 34" Un-Single). They responded promptly and directed me to their 1653 Line of cases. I opted for the full leather case, and could not be more satisfied. Fast/Safe delivery of a beautiful high quality product. Thank you!”

“I have many different brand cases that I have traveled with and recently purchased a Negrini. This case is lightweight, well made, friendly to carry with its rounded edges and provides excellent protection. Three good combination clasps open easily when in a hurry with TSA. Both in London and when arriving back in San Francisco on a recent trip the officers remarked what a nice case it is. I recommend the Cordura Case with carrying strap. Best travel case for shotguns I have found. I highly recommend it.”
