“The one thing that bothers me (slightly) is if the rod isn't perfectly centered when I insert and drive through to clean the barrel, small shavings of the wood from the rod come off into the hinge and chamber. Otherwise everything else about it is superb”

“5 stars for sure. Solid, attractive, well constructed. Only Con is that the extra side space has been divided into small compartments (maybe for structural reasons), but the result is that the choke tube containers won’t fit.”

“Negrini 1421-exp cases are a exercise in function , originality quality. Used and packed properly these cases perform like no other. They will take abuse with minor exterior visual impact. My purchase of a negrini for a Namibia trip, the heym drilling two barrel set travelled without fault. Baggage handlers are abusive to firearms as most of us know. With attention to detail in packing your firearm the negrini will handle things well. I would recommend the canvas exterior case, it will help defend against scratches and or in my case trim leather damage, but I didn't wrap the case or have the canvas cover. Although I did take the extra safety measure and put a lock around the handle. I was a little apprehensive about trusting the factory combination locks, but they made the journey without failure. I will spend the money and buy negrini in the future.”

“Case purchased brand new for $500.00 Pro: Very pretty case, very sturdy and certainly protects your shotgun once closed. For being a compact case it really does hold a lot of additional items. Holds, glasses, 7 piece choke case as well as cleaning equipment and additional small tools. Cons: The locks are pathetic. The tumbler for the locks is something that came out of a cheap suitcase. The very first day I received it I emailed my sales person to let him know that one of the locks was jammed and would not rotate thru the numbers very well. I took a video of the numbers and me trying to cycle thru them. Finally after playing and toying with it I have gotten it to work a little but it jams up for no reason every so often. I still have not heard back from Negrini.”
