“I have enjoyed my HD36V2 since the day I got it. Building it was fun, I can follow instructions like crazy. I have milled wood for a hunting cabin, a shop/shed for my boat, tractor, truck, quad, lawnmowers and a shop, and am currently working on a 14x18 heavy timber gazebo. I get so much pleasure from making wood to my specifications and using logs from my land. The mill has run flawless, no issues at all and I ordered a few spare parts just in case. Norwood was great to deal with every time. I’m so pleased I spent the money on a quality product and have no regrets. Thank you Norwood for the pleasure your mill has provided, and the projects I could have never built otherwise!”
“numerous problems assembling this saw that the client needs to fix before the saw will even run.
Poor packaging and peeling paint.
Need a ladder to fill the gas tank.”

We understand your concerns regarding the gas tank's placement and want to clarify that the design is consistent with industry standards for portable sawmills. Norwood Sawmills
“I purchased a Norwood HD36 V2 in the fall of 2021. It arrived exactly when the company said it would and with the exception of a few minor issues, assembly and support from Norwood went very well. The mill works very well, above expectations actually and it has turned into an important part of our small forestry company's business. We build a very nice shelter and have the entire setup on a cement pad. Many have seen pictures and a Youtube of our operation and have asked and received our plans. Since the purchase of the mill, we have purchased a Norwood sharpener, lights, and one extension, all of which have enhanced our operation and worked very well. The one small issue we have had in the 3 years with the mill is that the moveable blade guide hodling the ceramics is not quite parallel to the blade so when moving it very wide or very narrow, we have to check and adjust the guides. Other than that all works well and the service from Norwood when ordering parts or seeking advice has been top notch. The company reps on the Facebook sites,(Kelly and Wolf) have given good tips and are very helpful.”
“Norwood has been great to deal with, I had an issue that was out of their control and they rectified it immediately, with an upgrade. The salesperson was very helpful when choosing a mill and accessories that fit into my budget.”
“Remarkably innovative products and a team sincerely committed to excellence define my experience with this sawmill company. Their employees genuinely go above and beyond to assist, showcasing a deep commitment to truly helping their customers. The staff took the time to explain the differences between various sawmill models in detail, and I had the good fortune of seeing one in action during a demonstration. They even guided me through the process of cutting a few boards myself, which was an invaluable hands-on experience.”
“I set and sharpen blades, I also sell blades when needed. The blades are holding up well. The deliveries quick. We are getting an average of 6 sharpenings on the blades which is good.”
