“I ordered the 'stone linen look' jacket in a size 16 which is a size larger than that which I usually buy. I did so as I'd heard oasis garments are sometimes badly sized. The jacket arrived scrunched up in a small polythene bag, creased beyond recognition. When I measured it I found it to be more like a size 12. Obviously it did not fit. The material is not at all like linen either in quality or 'look'. It is, in my opinion, cheap looking and badly made. Needless to say it's being returned pronto.”

“I've loved oasis for over 20 years. I've ordered a few things lately and the quality and fit is just awful. Proper boohoo market tat, with an oasis tag. I am so disappointed as I'm eager to buy some new clothes and cannot find anything suitable.”

“I have just ordered a blouse and dress from oasis. First time since Boohoo took over. I'm so disappointed on the sizing. I have ordered 2 sizes up and still.the items are tight. Yeah I've put on some weight during lockdown but not 2 sizes up. Are oasis designing for kids. Come guys the average jo public isn't a size 6. Look at your reviews.”

“Oasis used to be my go to shop. I knew my size and it was guaranteed everything fit. The jeans were my favourite but much to my dismay the sizing, quality of fabric and design have all been changed. If I want a pair of boohoo jeans, I’ll buy boohoo jeans. So disappointed and looks like I need to find a new shop.”

“Used to love Oasis bought nearly all my clothes and shoes and bags from them their website was brilliant always lovely clothes beautiful skirts it’s not the same Oasis website anymore nothing appealing to buy their quality of clothing was excellent it’s not the same website miss Oasis Stores so much”

“Where as my beloved oasis gone .. I was once spoilt for choice..people regularly complimenting on my outfit .. now I scroll and scroll and find very little.. if I do see something when it arrives it is not oasis quality .. boohoo have taken over the company but where have the designers of the clothes gone .. certainly not to boohoo.. come on boohoo gives us our oasis back”

“The quality has dropped significantly since being taken over by boohoo. I have shopped at Oasis for 10 years, but it now looks cheap and flimsy, seams are left improperly finished. It still looks lovely on the website but in reality it is nothing like the oasis we all loved before. I don’t know where to shop now!”

“Agree with all these reviews. All my dresses for years have been from oasis. The fit was perfect, the quality very good and at a reasonable price. I'm so disappointed with the current product and will never buy from them again. Fortunately I bought so many quality Oasis dresses in the past that I will not worry about buying any new outfits for years to come.”

“Used to love the original Oasis fashions bought mostly all my clothes from there since being taken over clothes are not the same bad website nothing appealing do don’t buy the catered for everybody luckily I went to liquidation sale when it closed as still has beautiful clothes from them since being taken over”

“Another boohoo takeover bites the dust. Cheap and nasty but still charging mid/high, high street prices. Mass manfucatured sweat shop clothing where all costs are cut to rhe lowest possible for maximum profits. This company forget that, once you are too old for fast fashion, you are the perfect customer. High disposable income, loyalty, shop regularly online. But we know quality and this is not quality. I will take my money to some of the smaller UK shops with an ethical outlook. ASOS are also much more ethical these days.”

“I have been wearing Oasis clothes since the early 2000’s when I was at university. I have always loved the clothes as the are always a good fit, of high quality and the designs were always beautiful. I have received so many compliments about the Oasis outfits I have worn in the past and I still have dresses and tops I have been wearing for years. Since Boohoo have taken over I have found the quality and fit to be very very poor. I am 5ft8 and a UK size 6. I ordered a black spot midi skirt in a size XS, the equivalent to a UK6-8 it was too tight around my waist even though I have a 23.5 inch waist which is a UK4 waist. The stitching was also bad. The stitching on a knee length denim skirt was such poor quality I had to return it. A black high neck top I ordered was made of thin material and was too short in the body. I always wore the Jade Skinny jean before but they are no longer available in a longer length. A lot of the clothes are now made of polyester instead of cotton or viscose. And with a lot of the clothing the smallest size is a UK8 or S. Such a shame as Oasis was a very well known and loved high street clothing brand for decades. When they went into administration I was very sad. I was so happy when Boohoo bought the company out but since ordering a few items from the new Oasis I feel incredibly disappointed. Please Boohoo go back to the original Oasis suppliers before the brand is ruined for good!!”

“Oasis was always my favourite brand, I’ve been wearing it for over 20 years, since Bohoo have taken over the quality is awful, cheap and over priced, you can’t use the same cheap materials that are used for bohoo, misguided and charge the same price for oasis, warehouse , Karen Millen, will not be buying again.”

“This has been my go to brand for over 20 years. Gorgeous feminine clothes, good quality fabric and sizing that was reliable. Not anymore I’m afraid, since being taken over the materials are thin, cheap, the sizing variable and the website/clothing ranges dull and boring! What a shame this was such a great brand for the ‘young middle aged’ demographic! Those of us that want to look nice and fashionable but our crop top days are long behind us! I was so pleased it had been saved. There are few companies that meet this age group and do it well. Use your original designers/suppliers/buyers Oasis! They had the format for the brand spot on!”

“Loyal Oasis customer, particularly loved the Jade jeans but ordered from the new website having worn my old ones out over lockdown and they smelt of cigarette smoke, they arent the same size, the quality is poor, they were shorter in the leg. Very disappointed. Like other comments - where am I going to get my clothes from now?”

“Dreadful quality. I received a delivery today and was completely gobsmacked at the quality. Totally gutted the brand has been ruined with cheap rubbish products. Absolutely gutted as Oasis was my favourite high street store.”

“My wardrobe is full of Oasis clothes from over the years and it was my go to store for good quality on trend clothing. I loved the sales and always found loads of fantastic bargains. Not any more. I was gutted when the stores closed so you can imagine how pleased I was when I heard the brand had been bought and would now be available on line. What a disappointment! I have no idea who is responsible for the styling now but the clothes are now so boring and frumpy. The whole website looks very old fashioned and the brand has lost it's cool vibe. Absolutely gutted.”
