Hi William, Thank you for your recent order with O'Brien's Wine and for your review. We are delighted that your parcel has arrived intact and safe. Unfortunately we do not have a process for recovering the packaging at this time. We apologise for its bulky nature but as a company we have committed to reducing our footprint with our packaging and so do not use single-use plastic in our shipping. Please note that the outer box is fully recyclable and the inner 'egg carton' packaging is fully compostable. Delivery can take 2-3 working days and there is a shipping fee of €7.50 per order per single shipment to the same delivery address within the Republic of Ireland. Orders over €100 to the same address in the Republic of Ireland do not incur a delivery charge. I can confirm that I checked your order and you did receive free shipping. Please mail us at online@obrienswine.ie if you have any other queries or need clarification on this. I hope this has been of some help and we look forward to future orders with you here at O'Brien's. “Very disappointed that the package I received arrived in such a poor state. The wooden case it was stored in had the lid broken. It was obvious that the damage had occurred and the broken shard stored inside the box in the hope it would just be ignored. As this was due to be a present I was extremely disappointed as I don’t have time to wait for a replacement.”
