“Hi I received the order this morning and the Albariño was opened and half empty. I send you some messages/photos on Instagram. Can you arrange for a new bottle to be sent out. Many thanks Jennifer”

“I have already been in contact. Communications were practically non existent. Basic info that DFD or someone had received my shipment. No explanation as to who this was. Guessed and went on their website with the Tracer number.....no such shipment. Called your Head Office plus numerous of your shops. No response. Got a mail stating ' would be delivered between 1400 and 1500 ( received this mail after 1400 on the day !! )”

“Great to have the online delivery option. It would be great to be able to gift these purchases though and write a note to be included in the delivery.”

“I was happy with the order, quality, packaging, speed of delivery. The only thing I would like improved is the selection available on website. It would have been nice to be able to select a few different beers but it wasn't an option.”

“Wine and Beer well packed bit courier just left out on road outside gate didn’t even ring the buzzer to tell us it was there. What happens if someone takes it...do O’Briens replace the goods?”

“You stock a great supply of wine, especially Italian, I just wish searching for wines I've ordered before was easier and that my loyalty points were kept updated, I keep having to follow up with you when they are not there”

“I use out of necessity to send gifts to aged parent. In reality though, prices have gone up, choice has come down and the site wouldn’t even let me use my points on this order. Reliability (of delivery and timeliness) is a plus but I am always looking at the competition and will switch when I see a better value.”

“I was impressed with the speed of service from O'Briens, but not impressed with the delivery company you use. The wine was put into the recycling bin and no note was left to tell of it's whereabouts. That really is not acceptable. If I had not been able to contact my friend, where the wine was being delivered, to let her know the timing, the bin could have been emptied along with the wine. Not good enough.”

“3 to 5 working days seems like an awful long time for delivery in Dublin, given florists can give same day delivery.”

“The slow delivery time was a bit disappointing it took 6 days despite spending €7.50 so I’d probably look at other companies to order from in future. I appreciate it said 5-7 days but for thecost I think this is poor value”

“No problem with the O'Briens service but DPD delivery service isn't great. The contact details from the order don't seem to get passed through.”

“The loyalty points didn’t appear to update and in the sale on- line ordering doesn’t always work. I haven’t had a response to emails about these issues. Communications aren’t as good as they were though the wines are still good, this is why I gave three stars.”
