Bottle of gin was ordered on the 23rd June 2023 for a business associate as a gift , got a e mail on the 26th stating that the bottle was smashed en route , received an email today to state it will be delivered tomorrow 30/6/23. Folks a whole week to deliver a 60 quid bottle . Have a pint of cop on folks I have no problem with mistakes but surely they would have another bottle on the shelf and deliver it the next day . Won’t be using you guys again , Nadia , owner of ashford motors Ps I regularly order and have items in 2-3 days from abroad .

despite me agreeing with dpd to deliver a week later they delivered the next day and caused a lot of concern regarding this. i notified them that no one would be home until the following sunday and agreed to deliver it on the following tuesday they didnt

Hello, Thank you for your feedback on your recent order. All of our orders are dispatched in the order in which they are placed. Please note that the majority of our orders are currently taking 2-3 working days to complete. Once an order is placed unfortunately we cannot hold or specify what day it will arrive within that time frame. That said, once you get tracking information on your shipment you can make specified requests directly with the courier through the link that you will receive to the 'manage your delivery' portal. The courier can hold a parcel for a maximum of 5 working days. We are very very sorry to hear that you are disappointed and will pass on that there is a demand for specified delivery dates. Usually the offers are very good value. However you need to be careful especially with offers on expensive Spanish wines which frequently don’t live up to expectations.
