I bought a bottle of wine to be delivered to a friend in Ireland. The speed of delivery was really good and this was so handy as I live in the UK. It was difficult to find a company to deliver alcohol to Ireland. I was very pleased.

Hannah went above and beyond!! Best customer service I have received. I had a package delivered by UPS who OPENED MY FRONT WINDOW and dropped the 2 packages(which contained chocolates) on my G.S's dog bed. My dog just had major Knee surgery, can't walk and is confined to a 2x2m area for 4-6months. Not only invading my privacy, potentially complicating my dogs recovery and nearly needing another vet visit after getting at the chocolates but it's also meant to be signed by an adult. I was more than furious! After contacting 4 different UPS staff members who said they "disciplined" the driver, they apologised and offered me a refund if I contacted O'Briens and get them to request it. Hannah like anyone else was mortified by the experience I received and got on to the UPS managers. Unfortunately and not surprisingly UPS are useless, only asked if the bottles were damaged and didn't seem to care very much in the end. Hannah was not happy with UPS's answer and said she will follow up on this again. Even though this experience had nothing to do with O' Briens, they did not want to be associated with that disgraceful service from UPS. Hannah and O'Briens not only gave me a very generous gift card to aplogise but Hannah personally sent out treats to my dog wishing her the best in her recovery. Honestly can't thank Hannah and the O 'Briens team enough for their support, generosity and efforts. If only all customer service was at this level. Thank you Hannah, you deserve a raise 👏.

everything was absolutely perfect, the only thing I find annoying is the amount of packaging used. i don't understand why when a case of wine is ordered it can not be delivered in its original box instead of the 40 trees used to repackage and fill the recycling bin

We apologise for its bulky nature but as a company we have committed to reducing our footprint with our packaging and so do not use single-use plastic in our shipping. Unfortunately,as before with regards packaging, several cans of beer were damaged and unusable. I have mentioned this to your customer service and Hannah said she would take it to the warehouse/dispatch staff. Someone hasn't listened. For 7.50 delivery charge I would expect to have the beer packed in a cardboard box. Do you just stick a delivery label on a bottle of wine? This is my 4th time of ordering from you, and my partner and a few friends have ordered as well. We won't be giving you any more of our money because of the shoddy packaging and damage to our delivery, not on the courier's part, because of your indifferent attitude to packaging of beers.
