Oceans Alive would not accept a return of 270 capsules of Magnesium L Threonate (minus 5) after explaining to them that they caused heart palpitations. These capsules cost me £110. YET THEY CLAIM TO HAVE A MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. This is surely a matter for me to report this company to Trades Descriptions.

I am partly at fault for ordering a 3 month supply of Dr. Mercola's Magnesium Threonate at a price of £110. I should have ordered a month's supply. I took under the recommended dose for 3 days and discovered that these capsules had an adverse effect on my health. I then read on a NHS website, that for some people, magnesium threonate can be harmful. The site stated that this type of magnesium can cause headaches, heart palpitations and excessive thirst for a minority of people. These are the exact symptoms I experienced. If taken for a prolonged period it is possible that I could have had a cardiac arrest. I stopped taking the capsules and within a week the symptoms disappeared. I wrongly presumed, as a result of this, that Oceans Alive would accept a return of the capsules. However their policy is that the bottle has to be returned unopened. I was disappointed that I lost £110 due to something out of my control.

This company only communicates via email and I’m finding it very difficult to amend my subscription !

I haven’t got a clue where I went wrong but agreed to a subscription and now I’m overwhelmed by a product being delivered too frequently the company no longer has a telephone number so difficult to communicate with

Had a nightmare trying to get anyone to answer the phones at oceans Alive. There’s a number that works and they ask you to leave your number, yet they NEVER call back. I received a product with the safety seal missing. I wouldn’t personally order from them again as it was a lot of back and forth by email trying to rectify this issue of getting a replacement sent. Too much drama. I order items all the time with other companies that sort out their errors ASAP.

Still awaiting product ordered in January. No response to emails and phone messages. Email finally responded to after the supplier(Donotage) kindly intervened at my request....however still awaiting product or refund...bizarre

Ordered a product I usually buy directly from the company who make it with the last of my birthday money as it was slightly cheaper. It was delivered to the incorrect address and as the photo they provided showed no house number I searched up and down my street, but was unable to find it. After contacting Royal Mail to see if they were able to retrieve it I was told that I should contact Oceans Alive to request either a refund or a replacement. I’ve now sent three emails (the first almost two weeks ago) and phoned multiple times only for it to go straight to voicemail each time. I’ve still not received a response from them. Next time I’ll pay the extra few pounds to avoid the hassle of having to chase a company in order to receive what I’ve paid for! Wish I’d have checked trust pilot first.

This company is absolutely diabolical,no customer care at all,ive never known anything like it,need my tablets before I run out the whole point of a subscription and I'm having to chase them every time and still late,hence my anxiety through the roof,safe to say I will be cancelling and never ordering from them again.Save your time and money its really not worth the stress.

You guys sent a completely different product. I ordered Collagen liquid and you sent Sleep Better gummies. I have sent 2 different emails with no answers. Got response and was sent a replacement bit I ordered 2 bundles and only recieved 1 😔

It is very difficult to cancel your subscription. They ask you to email them to cancel it but you have to search for email, it it not readily available.
