“Have been a customer for octopus energy for 2 years. Recently fixed tariff ended was an intelligent go to. But now they don’t even have my tariff details so I can’t even signup to any of their tariffs. Customer service have been absolutely useless. Standard response is I don’t know why you can’t see a tariff or resign to octopus intelligent go. Been charging me standard rate for the last two months whilst sending me emails indicating I am intelligent go.
Asked to speak to a manager and they cut me off. Just can’t get the customer service these days… very very poor.”

“I have been an Octopus energy customer for a number of years now. More recently I had solar panels installed. I was very unsure of the process for selling any unused electricity back to the grid. Emily was brilliant in sending me instructions which I was able to follow. I felt very supported by her throughout the whole process.
I particularly like the fact that the company is environmentally focused and is not totally concerned with making the biggest profit.”

“Octopus Energy wrongfully cancelled my account, claimed I had moved out and cut my power, I was without electricity for 21 hours. When dealing with their "emergency" out of hours team they said I could get an electrician to check the issue and I would be reimbursed. I spent £310 on an electrician and then they tried to add that amount to my account as credit, which I did not want I wanted my money back. I asked for this and was told it would be paid back the next day, it is now a few days later and they say I will have to wait even longer to recieve my refund. Customer service have been slow to reply and not been able to solve any of the issues they have cause in a timely manner.”
