Refund - Difficult

I asked for this and was told it would be paid back the next day, it is now a few days later and they say I will have to wait even longer to recieve my refund.

Do not use this company iv left the company and been asking for a refund of over 180 still not got it they keep fobbing me off

Octopus energy are a terrible company they are great until you request a refund and then everything goes downhill from there.

I was with Shell energy and was switched automatically. I have ended up in credit with my gas & electric. I have followed all the advice and enter my meter readings regularly but I am now having to jump through hoops to get a refund again. They say there is a problem with my meters but won't tell me what the problem is. I have tried to manually reduce the payments but they keep putting them back up again.

Ignoring incorrect charges and lacking follow-up or response : I moved into my current residence on 15 January 2024 and began using your services on 17 January 2024. However, on 6 February 2024, I was charged £511.74. This amount is clearly not for the usage period between 17 January and 14 February, but instead relates to charges owed by the previous occupant before I moved in. I have already provided evidence regarding this issue multiple times via email and phone calls. But its still under "we are handling it" process and they didn't refund the amount for more than 10 MONTHS !

I fail to understand why it takes Octopus 7 to 10 days to refund my overpayment. £600.00 in their bank not mine for another week. Ripping us off.

In credit to 500.00 uk pounds and still increased my Diect debit. Rude staff. Hang up on you. No credit offered. No refund . This company is a rip off with rude staff.

This company rip people off I had a smart meter with them the property has been empty for 2 years at the start I had a credit of £276 and because the property was empty every bill Octopus sent me the amount due was covered by the credit I had till the day I sold the flat. In my final bill I was in credit of £164 when all of a sudden octopus sent me an email in which they stated I was due to pay £175 Got in touch with customer service and their explanation was that my credit for two years was a ghostly imaginary credit that was showing on the bills but didn’t exist after my complaint and a multitude of words that didn’t make sense the lady on the phone said they were willing to close my account without me paying anything when my final bill stated I had a credit of £164 that they would refund me I refrain to express my colourful thoughts about this company but I felt like I was literally robbed Ps kindly notice Octopus energy you have lost 3 potential customers that were ready to switch from British Gas to you

This is my second review and this is to complain again about the energy bill that that they've sent me which is still incorrect still no refund one year two months later they've altered my bill and given me a far less and charged me during the summer months for electricity that I never used when in fact they had feed in from my solar panels all through the summer and they are just conning me and other people as wellyou i suppose I'm now going to take legal advice regarding how they are going about thare dishonesty if you owed them money for over one year and two months I don't think that they would have waited that long to get their money they would have soon taken you to coet long long before then but not them they can take all that time in the world and not even bothered with you just be warned do not go there with them you'll be in the same boat as me
