Be aware, this is a genuine con. You will be asked to pay £17.99 for the unlock code. They will then send you a prompt to pay over £80 additional. If you query a refund, an automated system responds to tell you "no". Shameful.

They charge you an unlocking fee (+ VAT which wasn't mentioned anywhere prior), then come back after 24hours to bill you more money for 'unlocking' your phone. I had to go out to the shops to do it for a fraction of the price. Wish I'd come here to check reviews before any transactions. Scrolling down their reviews on here, I see its a regular scam. A lof people have fallen for it. It's funny because their website has a 4.5/5 star review. I can't believe they are allowed to get away with this. They should be investigated.

Avoid this company like the plague. I wish I had looked here first. Trustpilot only hass good reviews about this outfit although there are some which have been reported. They advertise the price to supply an unlock code for £14.99 plus VAT (which is not mentioned) They push you through the whole registration phase and take a credit card payment, then follow up some 24 hours later with an email and an invoice for a further £82.00 and will not supply the code until payment is made. I refused to make this payment. The going rate is £10 to £15 and ended up getting the phone unlocked by the carrier in less than 20 minutes for £8.99 They are con artists and their website is misleading and does not give the complete list of charges

Avoid ... this company is a rip off. They take up front payment (17.99) then send you an invoice for more (£39.99). That is after they finally get back to you..very slow service. Then refuse to give you your money back. So no unlock code just stolen my money. Bunch of cowboys...do not use them.

AVOID! This company will try to charge you twice, the second time for £59-£70 for a single service. See their behaviour on trustpilot, where they report all negative reviews daily and try to get them removed!

What a scam, they trick you into paying £15 -the price that a normal unlock costs and then spring on a £50 'small fee' onto the end. I then tried to ring them to request this money back but their 'phone lines were really busy' at 7am? Do not use them and go to a phone shop in town- save yourself £15

It's a scam. They take your $15 and promise an unlock code in 24 hours then they send you a link, saying that there are additional fees to pay. $70-$80 dollars of fees. They look legit but they're just looking to grease you. That's what just happened to me, looking for an unlock code for a cheap $99 Nokia 2.2. Bury this nonsense.

I am strongly not recommending this company officialsimunlock. PLEASE DO NOT USE this company, they are scam. Originally quoted £14.99 as a pre order payment One day late I have received email from officialsimunlock saying I have to pay £80 to unlock code, I understood that the charge would go up but I don't expect to have to pay £80 to unlock my Huawei P30 PRO. I ask for refund £17 but they told they won’t refund me. Please Beware is a scam, misleading quote, misleading information on the website, and very very big fraud. They ate my £17 I am very upset. AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID

Shocking customer service. Had to pay 20 euro just to use their service and Official Sim Unlock wanted an extra 50 euro to unlock my phone. Phone was out of contract and free to unlock with Vodafone but was taking too long to get unlock code. I tried Official Sim Unlock and was very sorry with no result as my phone is still locked and minus 20 euro and shocking customer service. Best advice is stay away.
