“I’m writing this review to warn others about my experience with an eBay seller called Onlinehomeshop.
I placed an order that arrived damaged on 24th March. I initially opened a case with eBay but closed it in good faith after the seller assured me a replacement would be sent and that I could dispose of the damaged item.
Seventeen days later, I had still not received the replacement. Despite following up every few days, the seller only offered vague, repetitive responses and no tracking details or proof of dispatch. It became clear that I was being misled and that the promised replacement was never coming.
I have a full record of email exchanges where the seller promised a replacement, but each time I contacted them, I received the same robotic message that never addressed my concerns directly. In the end, I had no choice but to open a claim with my bank, who thankfully refunded me — something the seller failed to do.
While I did get my money back through my bank, the seller kept the original payment, provided no replacement, and failed to honor their basic responsibilities as a trader. This is, in my view, fraudulent and unacceptable behavior.
With over 2.3 million items sold on eBay, I can’t help but wonder how many others have been left in similar situations. I’m sharing my experience to ensure other buyers don’t have to go through what I did. Buyers beware.”
“I had a very disappointing experience with this company. I ordered two cushions, but they were completely different in quality – one of them was extremely poor. I requested a refund and sent back the puzzle product to their company address. After waiting for two weeks with no refund, they told me they needed proof of delivery.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find the delivery receipt at first, and they refused to issue the refund without it. Later on, I managed to find a tracking number in my email and sent it to them. After that, they finally agreed to process the refund and even confirmed it by email.
However, even after their confirmation, I still didn’t receive the refund. Two weeks passed, and I had to email them again to follow up. I waited four days without any reply and had to follow up once more.
This whole process was frustrating, unprofessional, and caused me a lot of stress. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.”
“I ordered 6 Pairs of Blackout curtains from the clearance section. Arrived within the advised Timeline. The hem lines were not the best quite uneven and lumpy. I had bought them to shorten for Camper van curtains so this wasn’t an issue so I didn’t need to return them. Still feel as if I got a bargain.”
“Online Home Shop did not send out my item until after the due delivery date. When it was finally shipped it was immediately returned to the sender by the courier (Yodel) because it was in such poor condition. It's been 10 days and no item and no refund. Avoid these chancers like the plague!”

“I have placed an order for Xmas the order confirmation didn't arrive when I emailed the company I was told the order cannot be found. They asked for details which I provided but have heard nothing since and my emails asking for a refund are not being answered. The items were for Christmas I ordered in plenty of time but I won't need them now as Christmas is nearly here and it is unlikely I will receive them now. Last year my orders were great this year something quite wrong.”

The company doesn’t reply to emails or Facebook messages only Facebook comments so they look like they are responding to others, when actually they aren’t. My son’s Christmas presents clearly won’t be coming now and I’m £45 out of pocket. Used to use this company regularly with no issues, will not be using them again!”
“This business is an absolute scam! Go and read reviews on social media, they take your money and never send any item. Not even a tracking number, and it's impossible to get an answer because the only option is via email, and with an automatic response. Not even a phone number. And the address in Manchester is inexistent. They don't have any office there. They're proper thieves, they play with time and people's humility. How can they do that? And around Christmas time. Don't fall like me and other hundreds of good people.”
“If I could rate 0 stars I would! A month and still only received 1 of 4 items ordered at the same time, 2 of 4 items cancelled for no valid reason as they're still for sale on website, and 4th item still processing, if it ever turns up, as no shipping supplied. Email advises to check online account for refund details, no refund details show on online account. No replies to emails. Just a joke!”

No phone number which I now see as a REd Flag
