“Bought a brand new Samsung stylus.
Turned out to be a used second hand item in a small plastic bag.
If wanted a cheap used item I'd go to ebay.
Now trying to work out how to get my money back. Will not use this company.

“OnBuy will not assist on any refunds. They will not deal with bogus vendors and will allow them to continue to take money without assisting in refunds. They hide behind PayPal. Not a good site, much better ones that care about their customers. Avoid this site at all costs, please.”
“I purchased a set of step ladders from one buy and they sent me two pieces of metal shelving! It was my first and last purchase from them so at least they got their name right! It was and will only ever be one buy!!! I would have given 0 stars but it doesn't allow that option. Sorry one buy from an extremely disappointed and dissatisfied customer. Luckily the step ladders cost under £40 so its a small loss but a bigger loss to one buy as I intended making several other purchases but now I sadly cannot take that risk.”
“Mid Oct purchased a heavy duty electric tyre inflator. Didn't work sent them pictures as they requested. Supposed to be sending me another 2 weeks ago was told be sent on in a day. 2 weeks later no item. Now asked for refund so can purchase elsewhere. Now not even getting a reply. Just been wasting my time with messages bouncing telling me they sending replacement now saying be patient. But now wanting money back no reply.
Going on my experience stay clear of this market place.”
“Bought a multi tool off this website. It’s fault and the supplier won’t reply to emails and having looked further into it found the suppliers address is a takeaway shop in Edinburgh. Clearly a fly by night scam. OnBuy have not vetted this supplier and just took their commission and are now doing nothing to help. I have sent the details to Bournemouth trading standards as they are supposed to be located there. I tried to find their number but it’s not anywhere to be found on the internet.”

I looked at my bank account and they had taken the money 3 times even though the order failed! Week and half later I am still trying to get my money back, the OnBuy site so called customer service is a robot and not helping. Bought an item referred to as a sheep skin. It was a lie as I have an original sheepskin and the item I received is not a sheep skin it's synthetic. Should have known better at its cost price.

SELLER HAD EVERY EXCAUSE IN THE WORD ASKED US TO REINSTALL WINDOWS WHICH WE DID BEFORE WE CONTACTED THEM, SELLER BLAMED INTERNET SPEED WHEN PC TOOK 4-7 MIN AT START UP TO BE ABLE TO CLICK ON ANYTHING ON THE DESKTOP.
THEN SELLER ASKED US TO SEND IT BACK TO THEM AGAIN AND COVER THE COSTS FOR SHIPPING TO GET PC TO THEM AND COVER THE COSTS FOR THEM TO SHIP IT BACK TO US
