“I think Peter's 2 minute jazz presentations are great! I bought the Geoff Keezer product - excellent. I really like the high quality presentations and precise info in the lessons from open studio. Music for musicians. I think the Adam and Peter podcast chats could be shorter and use some editing out of the less important stuff but maybe a lot of people like that? Anyway Kudos to all at Open Studio for a very good addition to the jazz education world. Good luck for the future.”

“Peter Martin is an excellent teacher with a very pleasant personality, and that is why I tuned in and continue to stay connected. . I am less enthusiastic about some of the other features of the site, although occasionally there is a podcast that I find helpful. But I get the definite feeling that marketing concerns, and the desire to build and expand the brand, are becoming perhaps a little too high a priority.”

“I have downloaded Beginning and Intermediate piano courses from these guys and find that I learn a tremendous amount when I take the time to methodically pursue the information in them. And I enjoy enormously their podcasts with digestible bits of information from them. This is a great online learning institution and I recommend it to my friends right and left!”

“I find Open Studio to be, far & away, the most comprehensive online jazz study program out there. As a jazz pianist, I am working mostly with Peter and Keez, and there's simply nothing missing in their coverage & clarity, hitting all the important basics, concepts, substitutions and soloing improv, and explaining it in a way that's easy to "get" and absorb. I have already recommended this course to several friends, at least one whom I know purchased the entire course, and is enjoying similar benefits.”
