“So good that I might eventually start piano again! But double bass is taking all my time. Not enough double bass video, though. (That is not to say there is too much piano!). But honestly, I am keeping a list of links to all videos would like to work on… later. But since I am 72, later might be somewhat compromise. Never mind. Keep up the good work!”

“It would help me a lot as a beginning student to see the actual music played on your very short "Happy Practicing" youtube videos written out. The chord progressions sound beautiful but figuring out the notes in the chord progressions and the fingering of the chords in the left and right hands is nightmare fore me. I find myself having to play the videos over and over again to get the chords right. This takes a lot of time and is less productive (for me) than having the music (chord progressions and notes) written out and on the piano in front of me.”

If you like wirting/creating chord progessions, the Harmony Games course presents some awesome/advanced concepts in ways that are easy to understand with tons of examples provided to practice. “My personal journey started by fortuitously stumbling on Peter Martin's 2 minutes Jazz Piano. The same spirit of immediate relevance and applicability permeates the whole philosophy of OSJ. Adam Maness' GPS (what a great double entendre acronyme) really help anchor concepts and lessons. My key personal insight (easy to understand for a multi-lingual Swiss): as for languages you don't learn Jazz by reading but by playing. Overall a very broad and diverse source of insights and learnings by a world-class faculty with the declared intention to pass on knowledge to students.”
