“I’ve been a member since before Open Studio became Open Studio when it was Peter Martin music. The offerings have developed significantly and consistently over time and at this point there’s nothing else out there that offers you the ability to find guidance at whatever level you are wanting it. For me the Strong intermediate support is really unique and valuable. There’s lots out there for advanced and beginners, but not for that wide spectrum of the intermediate musician. It’s a lifelong journey and what Open Studio has to offer will likely support me the whole way through even if I make it to the highest advanced levels. I’m grateful!”

“This is a wonderful platform for true music students and real professional musicians. I’m just a bedroom guitarist that never gets the jam with real musicians. I’ll never get over that music knowledge curve required to absorb most of the information taught at open studio Jazz. The couple of courses that I purchased are perfect for me at this stage. I’m not educated enough to take on most of the content here, which is why I cancelled my monthly. But I do appreciate what you guys have created, and love the fact that open studio shows up in my feeds on a regular basis! Like little knowledge nuggets!”

“Excellent in several ways. All presenters were personable and knowledgeable. Great variety of Monk tunes played by different soloists and groups. Loved it all. Enjoyed emphasis on rhythm, style, touch, etc. I , and others as well, was able to benefit in all of these elements while becoming more familiar with some Monk tunes I was previously unfamiliar with. Monk, the genius. Btw, loved Fred Hersch, especially the harmonies. Natalie Veyvoda. Level 3?”

“Very well done. Also subscribe to the very well done Piano with Jonny and use both but find myself using OS more often. Enjoy Adam Manis lessons very much. Deeper dives into jazz theory it seems. Maybe I haven't looked thorougly enough but would like to see ability to transpose the "lesson" material to other keys which is a feature of PWJ.”
