“Avoid Opendoor at all cost. They have the worst service imaginable. We moved into our home 2-3 months ago. And have since had considerable plumbing issues (to which they are responsible for). After having 5 separate plumbers come out, it was determined that the plumbing issues are a result of foundation repairs that were previously completed on the house. After reaching out to the foundation repair company, it was revealed that they had FAILED the plumbing test, and informed Opendoor, in order for them to repair the issue. This was not done. Opendoor swept it under the rug, lied on the documents they gave to us, and revealed that they had no knowledge of any plumbing issues. We have full intentions to take legal action if necessary, if Opendoor does not fix this. Now, they are ignoring any calls, and won't return any communication back to us. I completely regret using Opendoor and will never go back once this is resolved. IF this is resolved. Please do yourself a favor, if Opendoor shows up when you are buying a house, RUN.”

“Opendoor was great to work with to get a stable competitive offer. That allowed us time to focus on the new house and waiting for that finish building. Having not known anyone using Opendoor we were nervous how it would go. It went smooth and the estimates matched the actual closing details within a few hundred dollars. I had a few friends who decided to sell their house on their own after I referred Opendoor to them. They had the headache staging and selling the house themselves. Additionally, they ended up settling on an offer that was thousands less than the Opendoor offer after months of trying to sell their house.”

“OpenDoor has been the most surprising and pleasant home-selling experience for my wife and me, and I MOST HIGHLY recommend OpenDoor be anyone's FIRST STOP and consideration when selling their home and choosing an iBuyer! The ENTIRE process from start to finish was seamless and OpenDoor proved to be trustworthy, efficient, and super-fast with total flexibility in closing FAST and allowing the seller to choose their own close date! From personal experience, I would say that I absolutely recommend OpenDoor over OfferPad any time of the day! I especially am thankful for Sedona Stamper at OpenDoor, who was my Experience Partner and guided us through the entire process, as well as Lee Ann Gonzalez at OS National Title, who together ensured that this process progressed super smoothly, efficiently, in a very orderly and timely manner, and resulted in my home being sold, my old mortgage being paid off, and the proceeds wired into my account the SAME DAY OF CLOSING! Again...I would DEFINITELY do business with OpenDoor again and recommend these professionals to EVERYONE ELSE! If you want to do business with a team who KNOWS their business, then choose these guys!”

“Ease of processing sale & closing sale. Always be transparent with sellers Appliances expectations. Upfront repairs, service fees at start & when advertising. Try to set closing date to match new home sale closing whenever possible. Timing was Perfect. Thanks, Open Door.”

“Experience with opendoor was very good. The experience coordinator (Matt McClung) and the escrow officer (Tina Chapman) did great job walking us through the process. I won't say the process was flawless, there were some issues along the way. The two of them worked in concert to resolve each issue to everyone's satisfaction. The closing went very smoothly, even though there was a small signing issue. All was handled to my utmost satisfaction. The closing funded quickly and all is good.”

“Our Mothers home was an estate sale. We were not looking forward to a sale. However Opendoor said they would make a fair assessment, which they did. No showings, nothing else was needed. This is the 5th home we have sold through Opendoor and can not say enough about their helpfulness.”

“Worst buying experience ever. Mostly with communication with Opendoor. Their selling agents are not transparent at all. I have an fha loan where the appraiser required Opendoor to address 3 issues before they can clear loan to close. 1- make sure heat works 2- make sure hot water works and 3- repair rotted front door frame. It’s now almost 3 weeks we’ve been waiting and NONE of these repairs are done yet. My realtor contacts them everyday with little to no response or with a new date of completion pushed back. My loan officer, loan processor and the closing attorney are all just waiting for Opendoor to take care of these things so we can get fha approved and close the loan. Julia Padgett is the Opendoor seller agent. We will most likely have to back out and start looking at the market again and waisted time and money.”
