“Never will Opodo again. My flight was cancelled by the airline on July'20. Tried hundreds of times to contact customer services using the number given on Opodo website but without any success, sadly. Eventually, managed to contact customer services and ... *Told refund can only be claimed one year after the purchased. *After one year was told it will take up to 90 days to get refunded. *Few days ago Opodo's email informed me that it will take 3 to 6 months to get refunded. Year after still waiting for my refund.”

“My flight was cancelled on june20 and I am still waiting for refund even after 9 month. Service are really poor -- whenever i call them they escalate my case but didn't do anything. Believe me, don't use this company”

“Opodo takes your money & then leaves you with NOTHING except an Indian call centre filked with people trained to do NOTHING but deflect & lie. NEVER EVER use this disgusting platform unless you want to throw your money away & your holiday dream in the trash.”

“Opodo outright stole my money. I subscribed to their free trial membership a month ago to save some change on a flight. I cancelled the membership trial and still got charged £66 a month later. After logging back in to their site, I realised they kept my card information even after I knowingly removed my card details. THEY’RE A SCAM. FRAUDSTERS. KEEP OFF THEM. P.S Don’t bother with their customer service. Get a new card. ;(”

“I'm waiting for a refund of €550 from Opodo for 6 months NOW. Telephone connection very unprofessional, and customer service very scetchy. Every time they say that I will get my refund in 1 to 2 weeks. British airways informed me that they already given them to money for the refunds owed... They don't even have an email connection set up... Very disappointed and frustrated.”

“Crooks and fraudsters bought a £12 flight to Rio from Sao Paulo plus £12.95 for flexible travel dates. I now due to Covid can not go, so tried to change my dates but was told by customer services I could do this but mus pay £37 penalty, so I asked for a refund but was told It was possible but it would take 12 months, hung up. Called back again to ask why when I had paid for Flexi dates I had to pay, was told this time I must pay a £19 penalty, we are getting somewhere the price is going down, but could not get a refund as it was the airline's policy, hung up. So I decided to check the policy in the Opodo email I was sent which had a link to the insurance firm's website, the link is broken surprise, suprise, plus the telephone given is not recognized. Called Opodo a 3rd time and asked again why I must pay a penalty for something that is not my fault and I had paid for Flexi dates. This time I was told I had bought insurance not Flexi date even though the letter I receive said Flexi dates and nothing about insurance. She apologized again and again bla bla bla and said she under bla bla bla stood and told me I must pay £24.95 penalty, bad news the price is going up again. Then I can go to the insurance company who will reimburse me, the insurance company that you cannot get in contact with and when you find the websit its in Italian, even more confusion. They seem to continually shirk responsibility and just try and con more money out of me because I was offered another flight deal with flexi dates which I would have to pay for of course. At this point I was losing it and sked is this company procedure to put people through all this agonising frustration I will just give up and Opodo can be happy tey have conned another innocent victim out of mony, this is fraud, Opodo are crooks. So I can change my flight but pay penaltys, I can not get a refund for something I have not used and they refuse to refund me the price of my flexi dates. I was given the telephone number of the insurance company to call to discuss my policy and make a claim so I called the number and, now this gets better, she had given me the number of The Financial Ombudsman Service. Heres what the website says, The Financial Ombudsman Service is a free and easy-to-use service that settles complaints between consumers and businesses that provide financial services. We resolve disputes fairly and impartially, and have the power to put things right. So I have a feeling this whole thing is a scam, Opodo and all their staff know it and their policy and procedure is to try and tie you up in knots so you just give up. At the end of the day Its £24.95 I have lostand the lesson is only book with Opodo if you are certain you are going and don't pay for extra's or flexi tickets because they are a scam and its not the poor call centre staff in India but the fat greedy Opodo directors who know they can scam the litle people and get away with it because these people like me use Opodo because I am on a low income and don't have the money or time to fight all I can say yo the Greedy money grabbing direcors is shame on you, but believe in kama because you will get you just desserts.”

“The worst cia ever. I am trying about a year to get the diference my ticket. In the website they show a price for the ticket and after I have paid they charged me more 100€ i tried to call them 2 times and my phone bill came 600€ the same price my ticket. I never ever got a feedback. This cia should be investigating.”

“I read here different other reviews too. Opodo is just ripping its customers. I have bought a flight without even agreeing to any prime membership and now I see I have been charged for some annual membership which I have no idea what it is. Opodo needs to be legally held accountable for tricking its customers. If anyone gets the time to proceed with legal charges against them give me a shout to join you in that.”

“In a rush, I booked a flight with opodo. But the cheap flights gave you free membership of Opodo Prime, for 1 month. If you forget or don't cancel within the month, they take £59.99 as one years subscription from your card and there is no getting it back.”

“Opodo/edreams whatever they want to call themselves... Made a reservation through edreams Sept 2019 for the IOMTT Jun 2020. Easyjet canx flight May 2020 and said to go to edreams for refund. Months of back to back got nowhere. Last heard from edreams Sept 2020 then 2 days ago email from Opodo? Who in the hell is opododo... they want to work on my refund but only needs my bank info to procede? I reply "credit my credit card". Guess I'll be writing off this $400 ticket. Shouldve booked through airline like wife said...”

“I will never use Opodo again, at every opportunity they take excess money off you when Change booking particularly in these difficult COVID times. You are better off booking direct with the airline. Prime membership offers you no benefit and the Indian phone call staff have a script aimed at being very apologetic but intent in making life as difficult as possible. My on line management booking is inaccessible because it is stuck on a previous enquiry and not updated. The couple travelling with us requested a 26 December booking but got a 26th January booking meaning they were travelling back before they left. There is much more - never, never again.I will post this review elsewhere as well to ensure others don’t get caught by Opodo’s money grabbing policy”

“The worst service ever. I got a response from them four months after I asked for my baggage to be reimbursed (I purchased it through them and when I got to the airport, there was no record so I was forced to pay for baggage again) and it seems the person who responded to me didn't even read my email. They responded with something completely irrelevant. Still haven't got reimbursed.”

“I can’t believe Opodo could degenerate to this appalling standard. Avoid booking with Opodo until 2030 if possible and continually search further reviews after that suggested date. I can’t believe I am going through ordinary refund for almost a year. I shall update you of the outcome Booking reference: 5081697366”
