“I had suffered for a number of years with poor long and short sight. As a serving soldier in the Royal Marines this made my life very dificult at times due to the requirement in recent years to wear glasses. I had spoken to a number of peolpe who had experienced eye surgery and all of them fully recommended it. Therefore I made an appointment to see if I was suitable for surgery, which fortunately I was. Due to my particular prescription Ocular lens replacement was the best option and now I have completed the treatement I am so pleased I made the decision to have surgery. The whole process was far more straight forward than I expected and the improvement was instant. The Optical Experss staff at all levels have been excellent throughout my treatment and I would thoroughly recommend them in the future. This has been a life changing experience for me.”

“Fantastic eye sight post surgery. The freedom is simply wonderful. I am so glad I have had it done, at 23years old I can enjoy living an active life without having the bother of glasses/lenses etc. I'd fully recommend!”

“Actual operation was not painful, hwoever the following 6 hours more painful than expected. Definitely worth it however and given the choice would do it all over again.”

“I have worn glasses for the last 15 years and never thought about having corrective eye surgery until my wife booked the appointment. My only reservation was that I should have done it years before. I can not beleive how handsome I am :-)”

“I could not see anything in the distance before I had the surgery; I decided to have it after my appointment and within 2 weeks, I had the suregery and was recovering well within hours. By coming to the follow up appointments with the great staff and by keeping to the eye drops and emdication provided, I have been lucky to have very little problems with my new eyes (although looking at lights did cause difficulty due to glare) but even so it was well worth doing and I can now throw the glasses away and not have to worry!”

“I went on the 22nd of March for the first eye, everyone was so kind. I went to Bridewater hospital Manchester, I could not believe how little time it took about 20mins, then I was brought a nice cup of tea. Went home to rest, came back the next Fri to get second eye done, had op at 8.45 and came back on the train at 1pm, back in my house in Leic's just after 2pm. I am now a month down the road and I can't tell you what a difference it has made, I don't have to shout to my friend now what colour is the soap and what colour is the hair shampoo when we go to the healthclub.I am so happy with the results, everyday is a joy. To see the more clearly. Kathryn Herbert”

“i was very worried about the whole procedure , but the staff in Newcastle and Edinburgh were very nice and supportive and after the first eye was done felt really relaxed and had no worries going back for second eye.Overall a life changing procedure .”
