“The surgery was very quick and painless. I did suffer some discomfort for the first 12 hours following my surgery which was added to by the fact that I was suffering with flu like symptoms. Overall though the experience was good and the results were well worth the cost and minor discomfort.”

“I was very pleased with the service given by all members of the Optical Express team. The surgery, despite being as uncomfortable as expected, went smoothly and i felt reassured the whole time thanks to the Technician describing what was happening. My RE is still improving but does not have the clarity of my left at this stage. I have been advised this may change within the next 6 weeks and that further treatment may be a possibility. Overall, i am very impressed with the results of my left eye, and impressed with the results on my right.”

“I wasn't expecting to experience any pain at all just slight discomfort so the first day was a bit of a shock, but 24 hours after the surgery I could see. I found myself trying to zoom into things with my eyes - the sight was so good that I thought I could do all sorts. The team were friendly and professional and the after care was exceptional. I would recommend to anyone.”

“Being a firefighter eyesight is very important. now I no longer have to wear glasses to do my job it makes a massive differance to my day to day role.”

“I originally went online to be nosy, I applied for a free test not exspecting that I would be able to afford laser treatment, I was very surprised at the price, since the treatment, the difference in my sight has been great and would recommend anybody that is thinking about it.”

“I had LASEK surgery, as my eyes were not suitable for LASIK. On reflection I am pleased that I went through this proceedure rather than the more invasive option, even though it is reported to be more painful afterwards. Despite the pain I managed to cope without resorting to the anaesthetic eye drops. Now and then, three weeks after surgery, I think my vision is better than it was before with my -3 glasses on. I am very much hoping that things will stabilise like this - in which case I will firmly say that this is one of the best things I have ever done!”

“Being able to see so clearly without wearing any lenses or glasses is amazing. The results after laser eye surgery have proved to be way beyond what I expected. Day or night my vision is now fantastic. I am truly satisfied with the results and would reccomend laser eye surgery to anyone wanting to improve there vision. Well worth every penny :-) Go for it you will not be dissapointed.”

“I never thought surgery would make such a difference to my life. After having the surgery 2 yrs ago i cannot believe why i waited so long to have laser. My confidence has grown so much and have excelled at work and been promoted to Supervisor. Seems funny to think that i actually did hide behind my specs. I would recommend anyone considering surgery to definately go for it as it make such an amazing difference.”

“I had really bad eye sight in both eyes before having laser eye surgery, I wore both glasses and contact lenses. Contact lenses irratated my eyes sometimes, having laser eye surgery meant, I could wake up on a morning, not having to look for my glasses. I had prepare in advance what I was going to use either contacts or glasses to fit in with my lifestyle, now I have none of that. I would recommend it to anyone.”

“the outcome is good but until i can see fully i cannot really say its better than my contacts. but i was -7 so to be able to see anything is a good start. im sure next month ill be very pleased with the outcome.”
