“I am very pleased with the outcome of my laser eye surgery. I never even think about the fact I used to need glasses and my vision is better than 20.20 now. My eyes are a little dry sometimes if I am tired but that is normal anyway for me and I do not think the laser eye has caused any problems with dryness, certainly not anything that cannot be eased with eye drops in a second. I have enjoyed the service here and I think Joel is a great optomotrist. The girls in here are also great, very professional and also very friendly. My experience was a very good one, from the consulation to the surgery to this day. I am happy to be signed off until next year and I would like to thank all the staff for the great experience they gave me. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED :)”

“I'd definitely recommend laser eye surgery! Yes, during the healing process it isn't the nicest thing, but the results are well worth it after a short period of time! Couldn't be more pleased with my great vision. Life is so much better without contacts or glasses, I couldn't be more happy with the my decision.”

“I had Lasek wavefront surgery a month ago and i now have better than 20/20 vision. The surgery was painless and i noticed an immediate improvement in my vision. The following three days were uncomfortable and I was worried at first about the amount of bluring and the sensitivity of my eyes but I continually noticed improvements in my vision and after a couple of weeks i had great vision. The staff at Optical Express have been very helpful and supportive throughout this experience. I would definitely recommend this to anyone considering surgery.”

“I was nervous about the surgery, about my eye sight reverting, about discomfort, but I decided to go for it and I'm so glad I did. Though I had been wearing glasses for 23 years, I was still eligible for the least expensive treatment. Even still, it was a painless procedure, and I only experienced mild discomfort within the first few hours after surgery. The results were immediate and today, one month after surgery, my eyesight is two levels better than 20/20.”

“My overall experiance has been very good. The care I received has been top class especially after there was a minor complication after surgery where I had to have my left flap re-lifted. The optician took great attention in making sure I would be seen by a surgeon the same day and was interested in knowing how I got on after going to Harley Street. Very pleased with everyone that has looked after me.”

“Enhancement procedure lasek November 2012. After experiencing blurred vision and dry nights, waking up with some pain and discomfort the treatment given has helped alot, with big improvement in vision and much less discomfort.”

“after wearing glasses for the majority of my adult life. i had learnt to live with them. though after i had my surgery i have the strangest feeling. it feels odd being able to do things and not needing my glasses. the oddest by far is biking and being able to see. being able to get up in the morning reaching for my glasses and remembering... I CAN SEE. i will hopefully stop poking myself in the nose soon those as i realise there are no glasses there. its a strange feeling though not one i would change for the world.”

“I am so pleased with my laser eye surgery. My eye sight is better than 20 20 and everything from not having to find my glasses in the morning to getting ready to go out takes no time at all, as I always hated putting in contacts. I found contact uncomfortable, always found I got something in my eye when I put them in and got very dry eyes. Now I'm ready to go and have only had a very small amount of dry eyes in the morning which is rectifying itself. So glad I did it and would recommend to friends and family for sure.”

“iol surgery and laser has changed my life completely . I couldnt beleive it when i could wake up in the morning and see instead of reaching for my glasses . I can now wear normal sunglasses on holiday . I used to have to wear my glasses going swimming it has given me so much more freedom . The staff during and after my surgery have been brilliant.”

“Aside from the burning sensation that I experience shortly after the surgery, everything since then has been great. I have enjoyed not having to squint or dread putting in my contacts. I am really glad that I was able to have the surgery and enjoy the new view on life. The process was definitely worth it.”

“I liked my glasses, they were an accessory (albeit an essential one), like shoes and handbags.I enjoyed wearing different styles, creating a new look with each pair. People identified me with glasses. I didn't think I would want to give them up. However I like exercising too so my glasses could get in the way and contacts could be a faff, splitting, dropping them, finding I didn't have any left etc. I also had my first baby and found with a young son convenience became moer of a priority so I decided to take the plunge. I am delighted I did. My vision is great. I can run in the rain and see, I can walk into the underground without steaming up, I can play with my son without him pulling my glasses of my face. Sometimes people don't recognise me now - which can also be a good thing... Perfect vision no glasses or contact lenses = more shoes, handbags and sunglasses (and without paying extra for prescription). So I am a complete laser convert.”

“The best thing i have ever done!! I was told by Boots opticians i wasn't an ideal candidate due to dry eyes, but they couldn't have been more wrong. The whole procedure went brilliantly, i have had no pain what so ever during or afterwards. To top it off my eyes don't even feel dry, if you're thinking about it, just go for it!”

“So far so good in many aspects of vision. there are some issues which will be ok with time. I would recommend my friends and relatives for laser eye surgery if they are interested. It does worth having the surgery. It has improved my quality of life.”
