“Just a little pain and discomfort just after the surgery, this only lasted for about an hour. Yhen it was great I was able to see clearly for the first time in many years without having to wear glasses. Freedom”

“Better than 20/20 vision is something I didn't even know was possible, but now I have it. You never really realise how much of a nuisance glasses are until you get rid of them, and it's really changed my life for the better. The surgery could have been better as I had to wait several hours before being operated on, although this may have been an isolated incident, and I would recommend that the surgery be done at the Birmingham branch (not where I had the proceedure) as I have never had trouble with appointments. The staff were exceptionally professional, perfectly courteous, and made me feel welcome. One thing I would stress before having the procedure is the uncomfortableness of the operation and the pain afterwards, but if you think you can bear a little pain and discomfort, the rewards are well worth it.”

“I had been wearing glasses for over 9 years before I had the surgery done and feel the procedure was worth every penny. The operation was quick and the staff were very helpful in answering any questions I had.”

“I used my glasses nearly 15 years, sometimes it's a realy uncompatable to use specially doing sports or at gym. So I got a decition to get rid off glasses by laser eye treatment, after good market reaserch I choos Optical Express as a good trustable place to do my treatments. The surgery was about 10-15 minutes and it was not a big deal so I felt good and positive about my surgery, but unfortunately I had a complication called DLK. Then I had to do second treatment ASAP in this situation Optical Express really take care about my case and did all the things very well to recover my eyes soon as posible. I take a chance of this to thanks to all of the staff who help me to do my surgery and big thanks to Optical Express give my eyes back...”

“My eye sight had been deteriorating since i was about 18 and steadily getting worse that at about 27 i finally gave in and got glasses which i found i became extrememly reliant upon. Then with 2 young children pulling on them in my 30's there was the fear of them being broken. My mother offered to pay for my eyes to be lasered and i took the opportunity. My 2 sisters in law had both had their eyes lasered with Optical Express so i had no hesitation in coming here and the service has been second to none. The team in New Bridge were so nice and put you at your ease. I actually couldn't believe by the end of the day on which the surgery had been done that my eyes were already feeling comfortable and they have only improved since. Life with my daughters has become much more fun and less pulling out of me for my glasses!! Thanks a million for all the work and support of the service. It is a life changing and improving experience. Thanks a mill again Aisling Hennessy”

“It was a dark life before eye surgery but now the light is in my life and I can see like normal people, even though my wife still says I'm special. It is excellent and well worth having done :-)”

“A positive experience that is only slightly more hassle than actually getting your eyes tested. I have very sensitive eyes and was really not looking forward to the surgery but I am really glad I did it now and the consultants and staff make it sound worse or a bigger procedure than it actually seemed to be. I'm glad I received all the information that I did and I am very happy and grateful with the after care service.”
