“I'm glad that I can still read close by with no glasses, which helps a lot for my work. Distance isn't perfect yet, but stil wait and see if it'll change in the next few months. I'm overall satisfied with the level of service at the clinic, and I have already spread the word among the colleagues. Hope they will find the same exciting experience of getting better eye sight after so many years of wearing glasses or contact lenses.”

“The surgery itself is a little peculiar but it was over very quickly. The surgeon and the nurses talked to me the whole way through which I found reassuring. My eyes felt uncomfortable that day even though I was resting with them closed and my goggles on. I don't think all the literature has prepared me for that - it just focussed on the fact that you can see 'straight away'. Yes you can, but it's uncomfortable to keep your eyes open that day. There's a lot to remember in the first week; 3 sets of drops 4 times a day, wear the goggles to sleep and no water near your eyes. However, one month on, all of that was worth it to have no need to wear my lenses or glasses!”

“it is a brave decision to have laser eye surgery but these people do this kind of thing every day and i hadn't thought of it like that before. It feels like a big deal but everyone is so focussed and experience in what they do they just get on with. I am so pleased i was brave enough to do it. I have absolutly no regrets and i am looking forward to the summer with no glasses smearing up.”

“I was quiet nervous before the surgery, but you are in there no longer than 5 minutes. And after surgery there was nothing to be nervous about. i should have done it sooner....”

“I came, had my check ups , everything was good to go ahead with the surgery. Went back to manchester had it done , then a couple of days later i was back in London. It was an easy quick surgery which didn't cause me any pain at all and i would incourage others to go ahead and have it done!”

“Really pleased with surgery overall. I have had to wait around quite a lot for appointments, often waiting for more than 30 minutes after my appointment time to be seen. This has tainted the experience slightly, however I would still go through it again as the results are worth it and I just hope it lasts!”

“This procedure has changed my life! Not only the clarity of the vision I now have, but the opening up of my peripheral vision has massively changed how I experience the everyday. I've already forgotten I ever wore glasses. I feel liberated! Any concerns I had about laser surgery proved completely unfounded. If it were ever necessary to repeat the procedure I would do without hesitation.”

“The recovery period with LASEK was for me quite slow and this can be disconcerting but the change in week 2-4 has been dramatic and reassures me I'll get perfect vision in the next few months. Abit more painful on day 2/3 than expected but the results are worth the initial discomfort and you are warned about this. The only concern is I was unable to drive for 2 weeks due to dry eyes and this was very difficult so I think abit more warning/foreward planning might be needed.”

“The whole process has been highly satisfactory. All the staff I have been in contact with have been pleasant, helpful, efficient and cheery. During the medical procedure and aftercare I was completely at ease. Thanks, I am looking forward to the next 30 years of great eyesight! :-)”
