“I was slightly aprehensive before the surgery but my surgeon was excellent at putting me at ease and explained everything very clearly before and during the surgery. the nurses in the theatre were also very comforting and I was extremely happy with how the procedure went. Apart from a couple of hours of discomfort immediately after surgery, I have been pain free and very happy with the reults!”

“After being extremely concerned and nervous about the procedure, I really need not have been - I was well looked after and informed very well on the whole process. I would do it all again if need be!”

“It the start I was not very sure that I had made the right decision. However having spoken to a member of staff, I was more than assured that everything would be o.k. For me from day one everything went according to my expectations. I can see fine with without my glasses. I can drive during day time and in the evening without any difficulties. Driving for me is even more enjoyable at night time than it was before. I can see things much better than before and I am enjoying every minute of my life. The experince that I had was second to none and would recommend anyone that is thinking of leading a life without glasses to consider having laser surgery done.”

“My vision was not too bad, but I wanted to be glasses free and that's exactly what I've got. The procedure itself was mroe traumatic than I had expected but the post treatment experience was exactly as described by my surgeon and within a few days my vision was markedly improved. 4 weeks in my vision is excellent with only minor glare at night-time which is subsiding as time goes on. Overall, would highly recommend the treatment for people with relatively minor corrections as in my situation.”

“i watch football every week and i am a rac patrolman which involves alot of driving,my sight is very important to me and now after laser treatment i have a new freedome which means no glasses. :)”

“I was a bit apprenhisive at very first as I was reading a lot of negative reviews of Lasek and how people's visions have not improved, worsened, etc. After the first weeks of my vision being very variant, I was being very paranoid. After two months, the vision has stabilised and i do see better than 20/20 which is absolutely fantastic. They say I have been discharged and that I'm all good so it was all worth it in the end. I don't know if I would be willing to go through the pain again though as the first two days were brutal.”

“I am super happy with the fact that I can now see clearly and have no problems with my eyesight any more. It is so nice to wear sunglasses when the sun shines and not to worry about glasses or lenses etc.”

“I was treated well by satff who were all very friendly, they made me feel calm and reasured about all aspects of the treatment. The optomotrist talked me through the procedure and showed me some of the tools that would be used this made me a lot more calm happy and comfident on the day of my procedure.”

“The surgery itself was fine. In and out within 15 minutes, Mr Jonathon Carr was superb, highly recommended!! The aftercare was superb, no problems at all. I have told my friends and collegues about Optical Express as they have been very helpful every time I wanted any help”

“From being -7.5 in both eyes to having better than 20:20 vision in both eyes is amazing! Being able to wear sunglasses and swimming underwater without any worries, is the best feeling in the world. Staff were all brilliant throughout the process, the surgeon, the receptionists and the review staff. Thankyou :)”
