“from the start the staf were very helpfull and friendly and made the whole experience very relaxing i was quickly booked in and had the op at manchester it was quick painless very relaxing experience the staff look after you very well the follow traetment is exerlent would recomend to anyone thinking of doing it get it done it is life chaging thank you all at optical express. ian walsh”

“Very pleased with the whole process and surprised at the results and lack of discomfort. Just a little difficulty in close vision as I work with computers so need to wear reading glasses more than I did but overall, glad I had the surgery.”

“After wearing contact lenses for 40 yrs I started reacting badly to the solutions ending up at the eye hospital and unable to wear my lenses for months. It was that that decided me to look into the laser treatment. The staff couldnt have been more helpful and caring. I was amazed at how quick and easy the procedure was and at how rapidly my eyes healed. It is lovely not needing to worry about glasses or lenses any more and to be able to participate in water sports being able to see!”

“I had surgery to correct my short sightedness. And I have to say that it was long overdue, what a great result. My vision is better than 20/20 even at my 3 month appointment and I've had no problems, no discomfort, no dry eyes and no regrets. I went for the best treatment and therefore the most expensive but its worth every penny when you consider it will last a lifetime. I'm now telling all my friends with glasses to go for treatment.”

“Given that I was terrified, and had a prescription from my doctor for a sedative, my experience of surgery passed without pain, trouble or problem and my recovery- as I followed instructions to the letter- has gone without a hitch!”

“it wasn't made clear to me prior to the surgery that my close up vision would be reduce significantly, there is a good chance i wouldnt have gone ahead has i known my close up vision would be impaired straight after the surgery, all anyone kept saying to me prior was that as you get older your close up vision diminishes which i already knew! i thought it was weird everyone from the consultant to the surgeon was saying this and as it turns out my close up vision was impaired the very next day! not to mention the store manager at kingston was a very unhelpful when i was looking for support on this. apart from that everything else has been excellent, including the after care support excl. the kingston store manager.”

“this has been the best thing i've ever done. i can't quite believe how much this has changed my day to day life. it's winter and being able to see in the rain without having to worry about glasses steaming up is fantasic. can't wait for summer to be able to wear sunglasses!!”

“As a nervous patient, this was a huge step for me. From the initial consultation to the procedure and onwards, optical express and all of the staff were very supportive. The nurses on the day were great at explaining the process and comforting me. The result: vision better than 20:20, 24 hours after the op. A real life changer! Thankyou optical express!”
