“Results were amazing. Walked out after the procedure and could see distant buildings in perfect clarity. I was really scared of the procedure. But I powered through it. For someone who is too afraid to even wear contact lenses, I did okay. My advice to anyway squeamish is hold the nurse's hand during the procedure, look straight ahead and see if you can notice the "blue lightning" in your peripheral vision. It's a fun game that keeps your mind off the surgery. Think of it as a once in a lifetime visual experience. A blue electrical storm all around you.”

“Had thought about laser surgery for some time but was a little nervous/cautious, however when my glasses broke this forced the decision to have surgery. Am extremely pleased that made the decision and with the result.”

“My experience has been brilliant!!!! Optical Express have been great. They are really professional and make you feel at ease. The after care is excellent. “I had difficulty with recognising people from a short distance and made mistakes that were becoming a regular occurence. I decided to have the surgery done to improve my confidence and quality of life and now I have more belief in myself. The surgery has been very worth while and I would have the procedure done again.”

“When I had my initial consultation the thing that bothered me the most, being a lense wearer was having to wear glasses prior to my surgery. The ones I did have were old and not very nice to look at. The lady looking after me said not to worry, we'll make you a new pair to wear; and you did at no cost. I thought that was going the extra mile.”

“all my pre-op fears were totally eradicated from my very first appointment with my consultant . The end result is fantastic , and the staff have been wonderful !!!!!!! the whole experience has been amazing, and i would not hesitate to recommend optical express to absolutly anyone whos thinking about corrective surgery ! “Lovely surgeon, reassuring, at ease and put me at ease. Great follow up care. A friend had told me to go to Ultralase instead but I stuck it out with optical express and was very pleased once we had agreed on price. Aftercare very good and easy to arrange. Have already phoned a best friend to recommend they have this done.”

“From the moment I entered Optical Express to enquire about having lazer eye surgery the staff have been wonderful, care and attention has been great. After care has also been great and my only regret is that I did not have this done years ago. I would like to thank all the staff at Optical Express for changing my life!!”
