“Glad I did it, my vision is better than 20:20 but do have to wear reading glasses more”

“After having measles badly at five I was very short sighted. I had the standard NHS pink glasses with curly ear bits and really hated them, refusing to wear them. When old enough I had contact lens which were OK for many years but then about two years ago I kept getting eye infections and soreness which resulted in having to attend the eye hospital. I was forced into wearing the hated glasses again. I went to find out about having laser surgery nearly a year ago and haven't looked back. The staff at Optical Express have been very caring, helpful and informative. they have been extremely thorough in their care. It is great to no longer have to depend on glasses/contact lens. I have not had any trouble with eye infections since the treatment either.”

“I never liked how i looked with glasses, i was teased at school and i lost all of my self-esteem. i knew that i could go 2 ways, i could have contact lenses or lazer eye surgery. i put off the surgery as i was scared and i thought i couldnt afford it. i was wrong. when i had the surgery it was painless, quick and i was made comfortable throughout the whole process. it was also affordable as i had it on finance which made it so much easier for me to have the surgery done as soon as i could. i am glad i had it done and i do not regret any part of it.”

“after having surgery my difference in sight is very noticeably better i can now read all small text at a distance without glasses. makes things so much easier when not having to wear glasses for sport and working on engines. wud reccomend optical express to anyone as the customer service was exceptional and very in formal.”

“How you imagine the surgery will feel is nothing like how it actually does feel to have it done. The idea is pretty horrific, the actuall reality of it is a walk in the park. Regardless of what the surgeon or your friends say, you can't imagine it being as painless, as easy and as comfortable as it actually is to have it done.”

“Optical Express have went above and beyond to make sure I am comfortable and have my well being truly at heart. Laser eye surgery is fantastic, it had built my confidence and I am amazed at the great improvement to my vision. I have better eye sight than everyone I know and it is all down to the great staff and equipment provided by Optical Express. Thank you all.”

“Before receiving the treatment I was a little apprehensive about it and some of my friends had said that they were worried about the treatment and thety thought tha I shouldn't get the treatment as it could "go wrong". However I went ahead with it and I couldn't be more pleased. Although I don't participate in any vigourous excercise; and others who don't wear glasses may say I didn't need to havethe treatment done, for me it has definitely been a good choice. Wearing glasses or contact lenses is a bit of a hassle and people who don't wear glasses have no way of understanding that it's the little things that really matter and annoy you when wearing glasses. Now that I don't need to wear them, life is just so much simpler. The treatment was simple and quick and the staff were always more than helpful and cheerful. I would definitely recommend it to someone else.”

“After thinking about Laser Eye Surgery for many years I finally bit the bullet and decided to go for it and know I can honestly say "Why did I not do it sooner?" It truely has changed my life and im only talking a week and a half after having the Surgery. Let me start by saying how fantastic Optical Express were. They weren't the first place I had a consultation with but they were the place I chose in the end due to them just being so friendly and welcoming from the word go. (and they were cheaper!!) They provided me with so much information and answered all my questions. On the day of the surgery they went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable and felt at ease. The surgery for me was a very nerve racking experience and one very nice lady even held my (very clammy) hand throughout. They spoke to me throughout the procedure and explained each part as we went along and it really does only take less than 5 minutes on each eye. Once it was all over I was ready to go home, I rested and that evening I was watching tv and was already seeing the results. I can't say that I really experienced any pain. I opted to have the LASIK treatment which is less painful anyway but I was never in any major pain at all (and I have a low pain treshold). On my 24 hour check up I was told that I was already acheiving 20/20 vision which was amazing. My vision is now better than it ever was with contact lenses or glasses and I couldnt be happier. Thank you to Optical Express for giving me my new eyes and I would 110% reccommend them to anyone and everyone.”

“Through out the entire procedure, I've felt like a valued and individually recognized customer. The clinical staff are all great and extremely friendly, putting me at complete ease about everything and anything the entire time. My check ups at Milton Keynes were great, mainly due to the positivity and genuine friendliness of my optician.”

“Although I found the prospect of the puffer and eye drops discomforting, I mainly was pleased with the procedure, and the results are certainmy beyond my expectations. Even more impressive is that I have experienced little to no side-effects, save for two days of itching. Would highly recommend this surgery to anyone considering it.”
