“not too good in the first few hours. Next couple of weeks a few regrets. blur at long distance. But after three weeks. It all seems to be getting better. No more cleaning glasses!!!!!!!! Thankyou”

“I have always wanted to have laser eye surgery as I have been burdened with glasses and contacts from a young age. After securing a job following graduation from university, I was finally in a financial position to go for laser eye surgery. It has made my life so much easier and will save tonnes of money and time on contacts, glasses, eye tests, etc. in the future. One of the best decisions I have ever made!”

“From enquiry to surgery to aftercare I was surpirised at the speed of it all. I never thought that I was eligible for laser surgery so never looked into it but now that I have had it done I would encourage anybody to give it some thought.”

“Can take walks over rough terrain without worry; can run without worry of loosing glasses; can do housework better as they don't fall off; can work with children better as they don't pull off glassess; can cuddle children without face beeing bashed! Best way of spending my income-ever!”

“Having relied on glasses or contact lenses for over 30 years it is wonderful to no longer need them all the time. Getting used to readers is an age related necessity. I was very impressed with the care from my surgeon and other staff.”

“I had laser treatment to both eyes in December 2012 and wished I had done it years ago. Great for walking the dog in the rain; no steaming up of glasses. I was particularly surprised at how quick I recovered from the procedure. Immediately after I went home and slept for a couple of hours and experienced no pain whatsoever. It was brilliant to be able to wake up and see clearly without years of reaching for my glasses!”

“Entire process has been a breeze, the staff make it stress free and the clinic enviroment is what you would expect at a private treatment centre. My eyes have been alittle dry however if vision keeps improving and dryness is resolved I will be delighted with the results. I feel the team are managing this issue and have taken the appropriate steps to resolve this issue.”

“I've just had my 3 month check. I just wanted to say that I have already recommended the surgery to my sister who did it a month after me. I could not be happier - it really is miraculous. I know it's expensive to most people, as it was for me, but the monthly payments are fairly affordable and it's TOTALLY worth it.”

“Perfect vision, better than i could ever imagine. I can now do all my sports without the hassle of contact lenses. And there was no pain involved in the process, just a few intial hours of discomfort, but nothing to get worried aboout!! i would have it all over again if needed!!!”

“Although I was really worried about the operation and felt ill afterwards due to worry - I CAN SEE! It cost A LOT more than I expected - I was quite blind it seems - I CAN SEE! Everyone was really kind, helpful, knoweldgeable. Right from taking out finance, the surgeon an support staff when I was upset to all of the follow up appointments. Slow to heal but vision is very satisfying now - I may not even need to go back for another go - the attention to detail an follow up on my sight has identified slower healing which we are keeping an eye on. I feel my eyes are being looked after. Thank you”

“Wish I had done it sooner. Straight forward, no issues. Surgery was not what I expected, sight instant and a little discomfort. No pain!! Don't know what I was worried about. After care has been very good. Would definately recommend.”

“Corrective eye surgery was first suggested to me by my optician during a routine check up. He recommended Optical Express and I made an appointment soon after. The treatment was scheduled on my first visit to the Newcastle clinic and I have received a very good standard of care ever since. I'm very pleased with the results in terms of my vision. The only issues are that it is quite a long journey for me each time I come for a check up (Hexham to Newcastle) and on a couple of occasions I've waited for quite a while to be greeted at reception. Generally though I am very pleased.”
