“although I was a little concerned at first, I think due to the extent of treatment I required, the left eye has taken some time to heal, now it is settling I am reaping the benefits”

“Mostly no pain, apart from the day of the surgery. I did have a couple of days where my eyes went blurry but i was instructed that it would happen. I am seeing better then i ever had, it feels great not having to wear glasses after 12 years.”

“I had been a glasses wearer since I was a 7 year old and I always found them a bit of a pain. Always needed cleaned, getting blinded in the rain, steaming up when going back indoors, it never ended! As I was getting more and more active in my twenties, and having unsuccessfully tried with contact lenses, I decided to see about laser eye surgery. The staff couldn't be more helpful and answered all my questions setting me at ease. When the day come to go for the surgery, I was a little nervous but really it was so easy and quick. Literally over in a minute, the surgery was painless and everyone was very happy to take it at my pace. Best decision ever as my eyesight has been perfect since and I can't imagine going back to wearing glasses all day now.”

“all staff were very attentive and answered my questions , the surgery went very well with little discomfort, eyes have healed perfectly.First appointment a bit manic though , Saturday afternoon and very busy.”

“I'm very satisfied with the treatments and the staff were very helpfull. The experience was far less truematic or painfull than I expected. The aftercare was excellent and informative. The only problem with the treatment is the time needed to heal the eyes. I was lucky I had a lot of time off work due to me. I don't think there's anything that can be done about that.”

“I experienced slight discomfort after the actual surgery but I feel it was completely worth it. The staff at optical express were all very understanding and supportive. Even though my eyes are still getting better I feel it is the best thing I could have done and no longer have to live with glasses or contect lenses.”

“the surgery has been better than what i expected. i have never been able to see so the fact that i dont have to wear contact lenses or glasses to see it unreal. i dont have to squint either so im very happy with that aswell. optical express has been a big help to me answering any questions i have.”

“Despite the expense I do believe it has been worth the money and it's great no longer needing glasses or contacts. Although I was warned about the pain after surgery, despite being in pain for a few days it was not as bad as I expected and well worth it!”

“As you'd expect I was scared and nervous with the whole idea of lasers firing into my eyes only thinking of what could go wrong. But i was supported all the way through the operation and before I even had it done. Having been through the whole procedure I could see slightly, words couldn't explain the joy and surprising effect of laser eye surgery, i felt normal. The grittyness my eyes felt afterwards was a bit uncomfortable but after a couple hours i could see perfectly, it was unreal that for 5 years I couldn't see no further than a my own arm length. I would definately refer this operation to anyone without a thought.”

“Really happy to have had the surgery, I work at a computer everyday and am finding working very tiring on my eyes, in the evenings I avoid watching TV due to tired eyes, am hoping this will improve.”
