“I am very happy with my eyesight as it is now. I have been well taken care of from the initial consultation, right through the surgery and up to and including my after care check-up appointments. I cannot speak highly enough of the care and attention I have received from your Cheltenham staff, and am very happy with the results, to date.”

“I didn't have a very bad vision (about 2,5), but having the surgery has allowed me to forget about my glases, and I am very happy because of that.”

“I'm very glad it I had eye surgey. My vision now is very good, I can do sport, swimming, skiing, etc without wearing lenses which improve comfort.”

“Excellent pre-op service as I was very nervous, staff were patient with all my questions and numerous visits. After op was a little more painful for the first 3 days then expected, but that went within a week. It took about 6 weeks before I started to see clearly - this I wasn't expecting. But after that the improvements were noticeable day by day (especially after being given new drops). Very pleased now and would say I was glad I did it.”

“It took me a long time to decide to finally have laser eye surgery, and I am very glad I have had it done. My vision is currently not 100%, but is improving daily. I am looking forward to riding my motorcycle in summer without worrying about lenses and glasses, and the wind causing the lenses to move around.”

“the sight has been good, but with little impairment during the night and long distance slightly blurry, but overall good vision. I sometimes get dry eyes, which i was informed about overall the decsion was a good and am glad i have done it. i no longer have to worry about contact lenses falling out when swimming and have to pack sufficient about of lenses when going on holiday. I had a very high presription, so the lenses in my glasses had to be thinned a significantly. Laser surgery has now reduced the cost in the long term.”

“I didn't feel nervous about the surgery at all and all the staff were very helpful, especially the day after for my post op check up. The only problem i found was after the surgery i hadn't expected as much pain as i experienced, it only lasted a few hours and then i was fine the next day. It has got a lot better over the past four weeks so i am now very glad i had it done.”

“The surgery itself is amazing. Pain free and my eyesight was good that night. I woke up the next day able to see as well as I had with glasses. I struggled to read close up to start but that has got better with time and I'm almost back to where I was before surgery with the bonus of being able to see distance. My vision is better than 20:20 but my left eye still gets a bit dry and blurry. Hopefully this will sort itself out over the coming months. Aftercare is good but I had to book in the 3 month appointment myself. It would be reassuring to have a courtesy call for this. I would recommend Optical Express laser eye surgery to my friends and I wish I had done it sooner.”

“The whole process has been great, the pre-consultation was very good, my expectations for the day of surgery were far worse than I experienced. The actual surgery was no more than a minor discomfort and the recovery time was less than 48 hours to being able to see clearly without any irritation. I am very satisfied with the results”

“Found it hard wearing glasses at work so after having laser surgery its ten times better as i have to look at drawings and paper work on a work shop floor where safty specs are needed.”

“I am so happy that I took the plunge and had laser eye surgery. All the staff who I've met have been so helpful, and really put your mind at ease. The only pain I experienced lasted for about an hour and a half after the surgery and since then my eyes have felt very comfortable. It is the best thing I have ever done!”

“The service and staff at Optical Express has been excellent. All of my questions have been answered and explained clearly. The staff are friendly and well informed and lens replacement surgery has provided me with greater than 2020 vision. Far better than the varifocal contact lenses I was wearing prior to the surgery. The surgery was not painful but the results are fantastic.”
