“Although a little apprehensive about the surgery, I soon became confident that I was in safe hands. All the staff at both at Optical Express in Liverpool and at the Bridgewater Hospital were very understanding and put me at ease, every step of the way. Friends had told me about how amazing the treatment was for them and that they had never looked back, now I know what they meant. It is something that one has to experience in order to appreciate fully.”

“After struggling along with glasses for years (which I hated) and contact lenses (which were fine when in, but I found fiddly to deal with) I decided that 2013 was the year I was going to do something about it, so I made an appointment at optical express and it has changed my life completely, I no longer need the aid of glasses, I can even thread a needle !!! Best investment I ever spent money on, I would advise anyone thinking about it, find out how much it will change your life and do it.”

“I am 33 years of age and considered laser surgery for the last 10 years. I wished I had done the surgery sooner however at least now the technology has improved. My expectations before the surgery was that I would have 20/20 vision or better. Unfortunately one eye has not reached that whilst the other has come out better than 20/20. The result is that yes I can see well without glasses however the imbalance is causing some uncomfortable symptoms and side effects such as migraines, nausea and the feeling of being tired. However I am looking forward to hopefully correcting this within the next few months and eventually gaining great vision in both eyes.”

“I was very satisfied with the procedure. Even though I felt very uncomfortable within some hours after the surgery, the effects dissapeared soon after that. The only thing I was not warned about was the possible blood shots on the eye balls that I had for about a week after the surgery.”

“Everything was very easy - procedure was quick - not painful. The discomfort nearly gone after a short sleep when I went home from clinic. Happy with aftercare appointments - eyes nearly perfect now and have been given drops for any residiual dryness.”
