“I was really impressed with the treatment I received from Optical Express, amazed how quickly i recovered .. also the after care I received was brilliant, I have since recommend this to my husband, who shortly has his treatment”

“Despite what I say below, I would do this all over again, because having near perfect distance vision after wearing glasses and battling with lenses for years is worth it. However: 1. I wish just one of the people who recommended this to me had mentioned how unpleasant the actual sugery is. It's only 5 minutes of discomfort - not painful really, but stomach churning! 2. I am surprised by the extent to which my reading vision has deteriorated as a result of the surgery. 3. The glare/starbursts around lights at night are really noticeable and, after 3 months, not showing signs of getting better. I hadn't expected that. Moreover, I opted for the considerably more expensive wavefront procedure on the basis that it promoted improved night vision! Not the case for me at all - quite the opposite. 4. One of my eyes is better than the other, meaning that there is still room for improvement. A little disappointing, but not beyond what I might have expected.”

“From consultation to treatment the process was painless and efficient. After surgery, I went home, had a kip for an hour or two and when I woke up I could see. Easy as that. My eyesight was about -2 ish in both eyes. I got the cheapest surgery going and this resulted in me now having better than 20:20 vision. Stop wondering about getting it done and just do it!”

“I had a bit of discomfort due to dry eyes few days ago like itchy, slight pain and tiredness and the staff consultant informed me to use the blink drops more often as i wasnt that careful about using it...overall I am a happy customer and the service of Op Exp. is fantastic and i'd recommend...Many Thanks”

“I feel glad I got the procedure done and would recommend it to anyone who can have it done as its made my life easier and I feel much more comfortable without wearing my glasses. I can now see my wee girl from a distance little facial expression of joy when she sees me which is just the best. I am looking forward to my future without my glasses. Thank you for making this possible.”

“The operation lasted 8 minutes with the eye anoesthatised and myself totally conscious.There was no pain and the next day i could see up close like being 30 again.There is some blurring in the eye from about 20 metres onwards but this is improving each day”

“The entire experience was fantastic. All the satff were extremely polite and helpful across both stores (stirling and glasgow). The procedure day ran like clockwork and i was seen and cared for extremely efficiently. The after care has been faultless. Having laser correction has changed my life and made me feel more confident and i am absolutely delighted with my vision. It is the best money I have ever spent and I cannot thank all the staff at optical express enough.”

“From start to finish, I had absolutely no concerns what so ever - I was put at ease by the professional service provided. Only thing I would say to patients is on the day of surgrey, take pain killers just before the proceedure, so they kick in for your trip home - once the eye drops had worn off. Overall - brilliant result, perfect vision and eye health.”

“To be able to see when you 1st wake in the morning fantastic, being able to see if one is using shampoo,conditioner or what ever in the shower fantastic, just not to have wear specs most of the time fantastic!!”

“Was very nervous before my surgery and the staff were all very good and calming me down and preparing me properly for my procedure. All the after care was done to a high stanard and everyone was very friendly and helpful, answering all questions i had.”
