“Very happy with the results. I almost didn't go ahead with laser eye surgey as I worked myself up about it and was quite scared of the procedure. I'm glad I went ahead as the surgeon put my mind at ease straight away, and it wasn't so bad afterall!”

“I am suffering with dry eyes and this has obviously made an impact on the treatment. Happy with the laser treatment but still early days. Very impressed with the care given. Would recommend Optical Express if any of my family or friends were intrested.”

“since having the laser eye surgery, its been great can see more clearly now. only thing that i would say i wasnot told was the discomfort after one to two days post eye surgery. but overall great pleased that i took the chance. thanks”

“DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES I HAVE VISITED OXFORD FOR CONSULTATION AND SURGERY THEN UNFORTUNATELY I HAD TO GO TO BIRMINGHAM FOR A FLAP LIFT AND RE-CLEAN DUE TO INFLAMATION, THEN MILTON KEYNES FOR THE 1 MONTH FOLLOW UP DUE TO OXFORD RE-SITEING BUT I HAVE TO SAY THAT EVERY LOCATION HAS BEEN OUTSTANDING IN CARE AND POLITENESS AND ALSO TO THE DEGREE OF HELP AND INFORMATION. THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN A HAPPY ONE”

“The whole experience has been very pleasant and I am more than satisfied with the results. The care and attention I have received has been exemplary and I am really pleased with my current vision and have gone from wearing glasses all day every day to not wearing glasses at all ever. Fantastic. The only downside has been night driving but I still drive home every evening and am adjusting ok and it is still early days.”

“I was hesitant at first and slightly worried about the procedure. But all the staff made me feel comfortable and at ease while also answering any questions i had fully and expertly. I am able to see better than i ever have, and i noticed a huge difference as soon as i had it done within a matter of 10 mins. My wee boy thinks i have bionic eyes which is pretty true, to be honest as my eyes have never been able to see so great. Playing football is hugely better as im not constantly worried about my contact lenses falling out or my vision blurring with the lense moving all the time. Fantastic job has been done in keeping me feeling like an individual and every member of staff is positive and friendly before and after my treatment.”

“I am 49 year old female who has had to wear glasses since I was 7 years old. My prescription was right eye 3.75 with an astigmatism and 4.25 left eye. After years of considering having laser eye surgery I underwent treatment in August 2012, I am absolutely delighted with the result and wish I had had the confidence to come along years ago. I have received excellent quality of service from start to finish, it has been the best decision I have ever made.”

“I opted to go ahead with laser eye surgery after the birth of my son. I didn't want to have to worry about glasses when playing with him or watching him in the future at school sports day! I opted to choose optical express as they were offering the latest treatments. My experience on the day of the surgery was not quite what I expected and was quite an uncomfortable experience especially when the suction was applied to my eyes. I woke up the next morning with great vision in my right eye but blurred and double vision in my left eye. I was very worried, and when I went for my check up in Cambridge I ended up having to get in the train to see my surgeon in London. It turned out not to be as serious as I feared and over time my vision improved in my left eye. As at my 3 month check-up I have better than 20-20 vision and am glad I had the surgery done, despite the complications on the way. Remember you only have one pair of eyes so don't enter any to decision to have (or not to have) a procedure lightly.”

“Having not to wear glasses for me has been life changing. I hated glasses and was always felt uncomfortable with them. It seemed pointless making your eyes up to look pretty to then cover them with a frame. Very happy I done it just wished I had done it years ago.”

“I originally wouldnbt recognise people within 20yds of me without glasses, swimming was very difficult with the children and i had to ensure they were never out of my vision. What a great change, being able to see the alarm clock, have a shave and do the simple things in life that I always had to wear glasses for. Simple operation, very quick and no after effects.”
