“I ordered two items online with Orvis. Used my credit card and my credit card for payment. Submitted and acknowledged. A few hours later I get an email stating I left these two items in my cart. I call Orvis, no answer. I email them. Hours later get a response your order is good, sorry. I get an email confirming the order at that time. Next day I receive an email that one item is not in stock but they will send the other item. I request the order cancelled and my gift card restored and my original credit card refunded. I request this three times with their customer service (the name customer service with Orvis is a lie, no service) but they want help me. Don't shop at Orvis as this is the 2nd time with Orvis this has happed in the last couple of years. No more Orvis, period.”
“Bought my first product from them because I heard how great they were. I registered my new $1000 rod on their online portal and lo and behold my first trip out I fund the end eyelet wasn't even glued on. I reached out and even though I registered the rid through their portal they dont have record. You're supposed to have a new rod piece in 5 days but they are having a difficult problem even getting me an email response in 2 days. Last Orvis product I will ever buy.”
“Discount Applied? No, they lied.
Orvis.com applied a "SAVE10" discount code to my $100 order, but did not actually use it to change my order total by 10% as claimed. When I called customer service to ask why, they just said sometimes our platform says a discount is applied but it is not actually eligible. Say what? Why would you tell a customer in writing that a discount is applied when it isn't applied? Sounds like a lie to me.”
“Needed car seat cover for my dog as we bought a new car. A bit expensive but very well made. My dog is getting old so we treated him to a memory foam bed again worth the money. We had to pick it up but we were going to be there after the shop closed. The manager waited for us to get there. Excellent service.”
“I was a loyal satisfied customer for 22 years before today. I have spent thousands of dollars at orvis and I regret it. They wont get another cent from me. When your rude to your loyal customers then you lose customers that simple. See ya”
“do not shop here - Pea coat cost over £250 and buttons are not sown on straight, they had the check to ask me to return which cost £15 in postage which i am still waiting for, and they said they would send a new one which was delivered to the wrong address, so they said they would send another - still waiting - been five weeks now and winter will be over before it arrives”
