“I think the product is excellent, however, it does not fully tailor to the exams in med school outside of the USMLE. I would recommend cooperation with local osmosis users (as in a particular country) to best define a custom playlist and provide additional commentary with relevance to the national exams. Aside from this, osmosis is a fantastic resource since it is not basen on rote memorisation, but rather simple, graphic pathophysiology.”
“Really love the videos but I wish in the study schedule feature they can input our schedule with class times and when we need to do those lectures as well instead of just supplementary material. Also the study schedule has the osmosis vids to watch but they have diff names for them idk why so it’s kind of hard to find that video outside of the study scheduler. Also wish the premise flashcards had multiple blanks in the question to test multiple parts of the question. Also the high yield notes I wish it was more just the video screenshots with what they say writhing next to it like PowerPoint form? Because when u watch I end up screenshoting the video part and writing on it the notes aren’t that helpful bc the whole reason the video is helpful bc of the visuals and that’s how I remember it. Love all the other features!”
“Generally really great tool, I renewed my subscription, that means something. I love that it refers to pathology, symptoms and possible clinical scenarios A bit too expensive for student from Poland, especially since I have to compare recommendations with our local ones.
Greets”
“It would be helpful if it were easier to move different tasks between days on the schedule feature and if I were more easily able to view different time frames (e.g. Week, Month) on the Calendar.
Otherwise, Osmosis has been very helpful - especially the videos, questions, and flashcards!”
“Wish Emergency Medicine questions were not only broken down by diffficulty but also by topics like pulmonary emergencies vs OB emergencies vs trauma emergencies et cetera because its difficult navigate through 2000 questions”
“My experience with Osmosis so far has been amazing! I am a first year medical student and it has not only helped me understand complicated subjects but also the videos are fun to watch and make me want to keep studying! The only problem i have is with the high-yield notes. I want to be able to access them easily and annotate them on my iPad but they are not in a PDF form so i am unable to do so.”
“Some of the information (Example like biochem) is not cohesive between the videos) but is still well done. The pictures alongside of the information are valuable.”
“Great videos flash cards I’m really enjoying learning through osmosis especially the pnimonics of the pharmacology
If I would change something is the flashcards making it harder”
“For me Its really great for revision or for first time learning. I like the way you explain things on videos. Its a pity that I Cant schedule my own plan for stydying for specific topic.”
“So helpful but the price for this is not student friendly. I'm blessed to have a family who can afford to help me out with costs like this, but I know many people who would greatly benefit from these videos can't simply because of the price tag attached.”
“Please improve your android app.. still running on basic features.... please improve it ..... everything should be included in app so no need to go for a browser every time because in app we only access few features”
“As a CRNA student and visual learner, I really enjoy the physiology and pharmacology review. This is a great addition to my other anesthesia review material.”
“Osmosis is a great platform for medical students and medical profissionais alike! Unfortunately I only found it in my first year of pediatrics residency but it’s an awesome place to go to for remembering the basics and to better understand medicine as a whole.
I only wish it had more pediatric resources and videos, it would be very very helpful. And also more sections directed for doctor who are already out of medical school and doing a residency.”
