“I love it! Thank you for breaking it all down so well. I'm a pgy1 in family medicine and actually find this site very useful in helping me remember important pathophysiology and LOVE the pharmacology part especially!”
Thanks for this feedback! Could you possibly contact us at support@osmosis.org so that we could learn more about how we could add more depth to our videos? Thank you!
“Simply the greatest medical education resource I have used. I have highly recommended it to all my friends in medical school. It is thorough, understandable and has practical aspects to all the theory.”
“I personally love the Osmosis studying platform. I find it to be indispensable for my study routine in medical school. Osmosis delivers thorough, yet digestible, information in a very clear manner. I highly recommend it to anyone in the healthcare field.”
“I have started using Osmosis as my tool for 'first and second pass' through all of my lectures, at a minimum. The analyzing text tool and recommending videos/resources is great. I really think it's a great strength that you have worked so hard to integrate with other tools that medical students use, rather than compete against them. One of the things that I always find takes too much time in med school is finding the appropriate resources to study effectively, and you all are doing a great job in alleviating that. Additionally, the videos provide a great overview without getting bogged down in minutiae and are almost always a perfect length. My critiques would be:
1) I haven't seen any videos from Boards and Beyond in my lectures notes on the sidebar or using the 'analyze text' tool, even though I specifically know that there are videos that relate to that lecture's content. Obviously that tool needs some fine tuning in regards to that.
2) The flashcards and spaced repetition tools are fantastic, but almost every medical student that I know already uses Anki. While it might be a large endeavour, if you could find a way to integrate your flashcards into already existing Anki decks while still protecting the integrity of your resources, that would be amazing and further decrease the run-around time for medical students.
3) While I feel the study schedule tool is probably great for Step 1 Prep, I've had a little trouble using it for my class prep. I also attend a school with a 'spiral' curriculum, so I think this tool may work better if you're in a systems-based curriculum where you can just go through the videos in order with your lectures.”
“Osmosis caters to the visual and auditory learner that I am. The graphics and discussion are the most helpful videos I have found for my Nurse Practitioner program. I bought the 2 year subscription and have no regrets about it. The amount of content is perfect for me and is organized well. Thanks for such a great product!”
