“I can tell osmosis will be more and more helpful as a continue in med school. As a first semester med student, however, the content i need is a little sparse, but not bad. As a 16 year paramedic, however, I can see this is ripe with clinical goodness.”
“Great information and very helpful for my 2nd MBBS exams in India. Doing Usmle prep now. Please improve your apps for android and ios. Can't seem to save video and playback.”
Hi Jason,
Thank you for the feedback. Our team is working on updating the mobile app in the coming months to address these issues. Feel free to reach out to the support team in case you need any help!
“Osmosis contains the best videos to revise about any medical concept in the quickest way, be it anatomy, pharmacology or even clinical aspects.
Forgot about a topic you learned, come to osmosis to remember it fresh an clear with mindblowing mnemonics.”
“I usually use vids. They are good, but some of them sometimes lack "high yield" key points professors like to ask on exams. Hard to give specific examples, because they are many minor points and many videos that I saw over the years.
That being said, I use only videos to help me go over such high yield key points without cramming lots of useless book info. The more little key points you have, the better the videos are.”
“I would rate it higher if we could download the high-yield notes to study. I don't like the testing method either. I switched from DITKI and Lecturio to this and I regret it. They both have downloadable materials. Lecturio has spaced repetition test banks with options under the questions which I prefer. Osmosis cost more and yet I get less service that what. I. used to get at lecturio. I won't renew.”
Hi Sanjana,
Can you let us know what videos/content you're looking for? If you can send us a list to support@osmosis.org, we'll make sure to forward your request to our content team.
Thank you.
“Fantastic tool, especially in subjects like microbiology that often have us "memorizing without understanding", because Osmosis explains the "why" something occurs enough so that it makes sense (more so than resources like Sketchy), but not too much so that it becomes irrelevant (like in many textbooks). My biggest complaint would be lack of proper tagging on the Anking deck that many medical school students use. I use that deck extensively and if Osmosis were tagged, I'd completely ditch Boards & Beyond in favor of Osmosis.”
“Hands down amazzzing...It is made for the med student outlier...people who need creativity to learn. It's kind of sad how much more I learn from Osmosis videos than from a traditional lecture. I wish more people had access to platforms like Osmosis.”
