About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“The equipment was good, but disappointed when I ordered it and unbeknownst to me, and not until I queried after two weeks of nothing, that it was a back order item (I his was not communicated at time of ordering). It took 3 1/2 weeks before my product arrived. Would not order from there again based on this first experience.”

“Not good in my case, took 3-4 weeks to get the part and it was the wrong part … I could of got a refund but I couldn’t be bothered boxing up the part and posting it back … wast of time and $$”

“Product was excellent, customer service was the worst. Had a package delivered and it got sent to the wrong address. Then it was up to me to sort it out. No one ever got back to me, had to ring up every day just to be put on hold and wait… Very poor communication”
