About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Ordered an a/c 10/11/22 for my Caravan, did not leave your destination until 14/11/22.Delivered to the Central Coast 3 weeks later. Not contact from you to advise of the delay

Outback have an awesome selection of equipment. And it seems like good quality. However their ordering and shipping takes ages. And mistakes are made. One order took over 25 days to be delivered. Another order took exactly 32 days.

Long time to dispatch Part was exactly as advertised and was well packaged just took a long time to pick and ship, ordered on the 1st shipped on the 8th.

Ordered an awning was in stock told 3 days was going on a trip. Took 10 days probably would have driven to Brisbane to Collect was I told . Paid the delivery $65 to get it in time. Please inform of times accurately I was assured it would be quick. Fiamma awning is great

Correct part arrived undamaged as described. Only problem was tracking parcel. Updated when dispatched-nothing more untill day of delivery.

The product itself is great and done exactly what we needed, however we ordered it (it said it was in stock) with express post as we needed it rather quickly to then be told after payment that it had to be ordered from their supplier and then it would only be expressed posted once leaving their warehouse. If something is in stock I expected it to be in stock otherwise we could of gone elsewhere.

The delivery was 5 weeks late. The item wasn't in stock, and the supplier didn't send the item untill 4 weeks later. I had to call up multiple times to get any updates and only received an email about a product delay at the 3 week mark. The customer support were friendly and helpful when i called, but it's a bit disappointing that it was delayed for so long without warning or estimates. I hesitate to make another purchase in case it happens again.

Very happy with the products I purchased. However, the dispatch time was over one week so it took a month plus to receive the item.

Had delays with the delivery of the lights which wasn’t an issue. The main item for improvement is the the email correspondences as they are confusing, one email will say that the shipment of light will be in next week then the following week the next email will indicate further shipment delays so at no stage did I have any idea when I was getting my lights. In the end had to call for the third time to get any real answers. The staff were more then helpful when I did call.
