About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“I had to return two items and exchange them for the correct size. Using the returns procedure was a little clunky, but it worked. The process is a little confusing for the first time. It would heve been good to have been notified that the reurned items had been processed and that a credit was available to re order the new items, regardless of a previous e mail process. The freight from Tannum sands to Acacia Ridge was $90 Then I had to pay freight for the new items. Certainly a process I do not want to repeat.”

“Great products but it would be nice if you had a store in western Australia. Most of the vehicles is western Australia are 4wd so i think it would only increase your business”

“Re; Anti Flap Kit - Long with 2 Extra Rafters. Hey Guys, Happy with the quality of the product. It requires 4 Base locators to attach to Van, there was only 2 supplied. Can you supply the other 2 please. Thankyou”

“Good selection of brands and stock. Phone staff have always been awesome. I've been in the shop three times. The staff on the first shift were just helpfull enough to get a sale. All other sales staff were awesome.”

“Customer service I received was awesome, however as per last time the shipping is the concern when ordering through Outback Equipment. Half of my roof rack that was out of stock arrived first, and the part that was in stock appeared to spend over a week with the courier before showing up much later. I'll probably order again, but I know to expect that delivery is not always on point.”

“Happy with the product range and service, pricing is competitive. This is not the first purchase and we have received past products. It would be good however to receive feedback on delivery timing, as it has been 4 days since order was placed with no detail on delivery or if product was in stack.”
