About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Items good, but delivery times were very long with only communication when l phoned them. I will purchase again but need to follow up frequently

I ordered three items and the items themslves are exactly what I wanted and at a reasonable price. But delivery was woeful. The items took 19, 22 and 25 days respectively from Brisbane to Melbourne. In comparison an item from another supplier took only six days Brisbane to Melbourne and it weighed 30 Kg.

I’ve purchased from Outback Equipment several times and had no issues with the products or quality. However, Aramex is your chosen courier and I’ve never had a delivery on time. I won’t purchase from Outback Equipment again - but that’s because of your courier ; not your products. I don’t know why companies put their reputations on the line by using a cheap courier. 7400 Google reviews on Aramex and 95% negative. Go figure.

Product description not clear enough sadly cannot use item purchased as does not have a sail track attachment.

We bought 2 of the 12V ceiling fans. They wurk pretty well and move the air but they're quite noisey with a loud hum that comes and goes. I would probably get another brand in future as I have mates that have the other bands and they are quiet and preform just as well

Got my product in the end. Initially showed as shipped, but no tracking number available. Followed up once by website, twice by email. Never received a response, but after another week or two received a notice advising shipment was on the way.

Delivery was slow, definately wasn't the 4 business days that the website said, was nearly a week before I got confirmation of being sent then spent over a week in a store in Bendigo before finally being delivered, all up was about 22 days from order placement

The product is good. The delivery took weeks not happy with that. I live in a Melb suburb not the moon.

I purchased their caravan valet with dual drive wheels and a driver drill all up costing 1550$ and it moved the 2.2 tonne van about 1 inch and that is it. Don't touch these things as they only will work on smooth flat level concrete. Mine failed on bitumen with a pitch of less than half a degree.

Customer service was excellent but not happy with the turn around of my product I had it in the mail the following day but I’m still waiting to receive it so not happy on the dispatch side Tom in customer service was very good the rest of the team let him down Thanks Robert Doherty

The system principle is good. But it doesn’t get rid of all the smell, additive is required. It’s very expensive for what it is.

Sadly over the last year the delivery times as stated in the website, dont seem to be adhered to, when questioned about the delay, i was told that item I ordered was out of stock, if i know this when ordering I can't choose to order a different product or accept the item might bel delayed. You guys need to identify items out of stock before your customers order them and you take payment.

Hi Outback Equipment, Some honest feed back for my latest purchase . I’m now happy with my products from you guys. At first I was disappointed with the first contact after buying online and noticed that my product wasn’t sent until 1 week later, only to take 20 days from date of purchase to delivery to my house in Perth WA. Most other 4x4 companies can deliver products within a maximum of 12 days, usually 6-8 days. However after several phone calls and talking with staff I finally have all products and I’m happy….. I do like your online products and would love to continue to buy gear online from time to time. All I could say is if the company can speed up the delivery from purchase day and delivery time frame all would be good.😃👍 Kind regards, Pete.😃

Quality of product was acceptable. Price was very good. The cable was too short to go around the battery. Now the cable sits on top of the fuse box. Not ideal.ñ Flexible type cable expected, stiff one received. The lug on the cable provided didn't fit the isolator connection bolt. I had to make the hole bigger to fit. The isolator mounting slotted hole was slightly too small for standard (I think M8) bolt holes that come with Japanese cars in the engine bay.

I followed the instructions for picking up an online order by going in to the shop, and then I was referred to the collection area where there was one other couple waiting. We sat there for over half an hour and were not even acknowledged. Another customer came over and was served immediately. When we questioned it, we were told there were no orders for the 2 of us. Both of us were served by the same young gentleman in the shop. ... This is constructive criticism and a suggestion maybe review your procedures for this process.

Product SKU:520ARRMB should not be labelled as auto combination lamps, rather a combination lamp. It's very sneaky. Similar sites advertise the same, however have also advertise per set on the same page as to avoid confusion. I purchased my second combination lamp from other such site for $20 cheaper than yours and only waited 3 days for delivery rather than 2 weeks. I wish I had known of the other site earlier, I could've saved $120 and 11 days.
