About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“Bought a 12V ceiling fan, easy site to use. Surprisingly quick delivery (for Perth) Luckily it wasn't damaged but the OEM box was only wrapped in black plastic film and slightly crushed. Works fine, pretty handy for our motorhome. Very quiet.”

“The service was quick and easy. However I stuffed up by ordering the wrong part but they were accommodating about replacing it, even though my situation was outside their replacement terms. I appreciated their consideration.”

“Service and products are good however with a recent phone order and visiting last Saturday for another purchase there is a problem with me receiving the emailed receipt. We had to follow up and get the phone order receipt resent which we received. Saturday's receipt we stil have to follow up with the staff. In saying that there is no problem however receiving the promotional emails?????”

“I have no argument with the supply and service of articles that I ordered, everything was first class but, I did submit one of your enquiry forms some time back and never even got a reply other than that it had been received. I was after a price and availability for some of those long (380mm) skinny, led tail lights and indicator lights for my caravan.”
